Congratulations to Week 1 Players of the Game: Both of our award recipients for Week 1 inflicted their damage early in the game.

Johnson caught 6 passes for a total of 88 yds including a 19 yd TD pass from quarterback Trent Hurley in the left corner of the endzone to open the scoring. Less than 5 minutes later, he added a running TD - coincidentally also 19 yards - on a reverse to move the Blue Hens to a 14-0 early lead.

Breaker recorded 5 solo tackles and assisted on 3 others. He also had a huge first quarter! His forced fumble to end West Chester's first possession lead to the Blue Hens' first score of the game. He also ended the Golden Rams' second possesion by intercepting a Sean McCartney pass. This lead to the Blue Hens' second score of the day.

Both players' first quarter heroics helped open the scoring and paved the way for the Blue Hens' eventual 41-21 victory. Congratulations Michael and Tim!
