Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

Will you also be passing the hat around like a Delaware Semi Pro Baseball Game? Ooops there's no one to donate. Is it really that hard to figure out why other than the P5's why there is no push to play?? Actually 2 1) Meaningless Football or should I say a glorified scrimmage 2) Drum roll please......

Re: 1972 National Champs 40th reunion video

George Fox, who I rember as an outstanding special teamer and DB, did a great job with that video. I hope he does one for the 50th reunion in 2022. I wonder if something similar has or will be done for the 1971, 1979, and 2003 (20 year anniversary in 2023!) champion FB teams. I have especailly foond...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

A major issue being overlooked here is that many of these colleges are playing because those in the program can get same day testing with reuslts in one day. Yet where most of these colleges are located, highly vulnerable populations inlcuding health care workers on the fornt line do not have access...

Re: UD Budget

So where is the bulk of the $250M deficit coming from? Athletics, by reports over the years, have always been around net zero in terms of revenue, so not playing those sports shouldn't have caused a major issue in terms of missing revenues. So does that mean most or all of this is from the fact tha...

Re: Wes Peterson

Glad to see the (late) offer. IMHO, in order of priority, UD needs to land 1 PG, 1-2 SF, 1 PF, and 1 C (or 2 PFs) from JH or via eligilbe transfers for the 2021-2022 season for a total of 4 new players.

Re: Mens Basketball recruiting 21'

darthdave, What are the chances taht UD is able to sign some good HS prospects and/or eligible transfers during the late singing period (runs from when to when?) for the 2021-2022 Men's Basketball season? What do you believe has ben the cause(s) of the recruiting failures to date for the 2021-2022 s...

Re: Mens Basketball recruiting 21'

I said this before and I may be way off but on the surface, we have missed the boat on the 21' class. Perhaps the staff, if they reads these boards, will laugh at that statement but mid Sept, no commits and now only 1 offer out. 6 open scholarships and losing recruits to Towson and Loyola. If Ochef...

Many of us sent UD a deposit of $25 per seat months ago for Men's Basketball 2020-2021 Season Tickets.

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

NCAA is going to recommend college basketball can begin on November 25th. Also committed to playing March Madness this year (well, March 2021) no matter how they have to do it. If they can hit this date, that means there will be a few hundred college football games and now potentially the same numb...

NDSU with 1 game schedule https://herosports.com/news/ndsu-football-central-arkansas-fall-2020-ajaj/ It says they will be playing a full schedule in the spring along with many other conferences. Surprised NDSU doesn't use this as an opportunity to play some FBS teams looking for opponents, there ar...

264 "kids" between the ages of 15 to 24 have died in the US due to Covid-19 since 2/1/2020. This is out of total deaths of 17,838 in the same age group or (1.48%). Of the 264 "deaths", I couldn't find the number that had NO other preexisting condidtions at the time of death or actually died FROM Co...

Re: Trivia Top 10 RB's

Remember that we are rating TB and Wing backs, not FB's. That's next, so Hall, Beasley, Brown, Armstrong,Mason, etc not included. RB to some of us means any Back that runs the ball. Thats why you see some with HB and FB's. The thread title did say "RB's not Halfbacks. Certainly during the Wing T da...
