Re: Week 0 Scoreboard

I watched the entire 1st half and V. looked quite impressive. They are clearly in awesome physical condition.

HZ- if V is #1, then I hope we are #2 and take them down after the long drought.

Re: Season Predictions

I’m thinking an 8-4 season that gets us back into the playoffs. Gotta start with a very solid performance on both sides of the ball against Del State, no major injuries, and no end of season funk. The youngsters need to get better every week and the good-sized and experienced O-line needs to play w...

Re: Week 1 Depth Chart

good point Ron I believe, once Rocco and staff have figured who the "best" are, that flexibility with personnel will determine our season as well as the schemes on O and D that are effective against who we face each week. Here's hoping!!!

Re: Season Predictions

Haven't been to any action since last season( read every post on all sports just about every day) so impossible to venture a prediction. I'm hoping that Rocco has learned a few lessons.Had he not replaced Simon we would be dead in the water. New stadium, new team, hopefully the right attitude, and p...

Re: Week 1 Depth Chart

Ashworth came in in the 230's a little light in the azz for DT but he can still play and Amachi had a great camp. How about Mauro at the KAT position? I'm shocked to read the 230's for Ashworth. Has he returned to the usual 260 now that he carried before? Did he have a problem maintaining lbs last ...

Re: INCOMING FRESHMAN

Walker was a kid I was high on from the moment I saw his video last year. He will probably rs, but he looked tough to me. Carib- I'm not a farmer but I've got a huge field and loads of forest surrounding it so it keeps me busy. The field is for hay and the woods for selective clearing over the years...

Re: Rhode Island

RI's stadium is compact but attractive. no mocking their team or facility! I hope they continue to be an up and comer like us  :(

The game there, assuming we beat DSU, will be a strong indication of how our season MAY go. We better come out of RI with a W.

Re: Final Scrimmage?

From yesterday's posts, it seems that the staff is moving towards what I had hoped to see with big men at DT(Kitchen and others in the >285 range) and moving our former DTs to DEs(Ashworth and Burton who should be strong at DE. Walsh( nice size at DE) must be looking good from our present depth char...

Re: INCOMING FRESHMAN

KT and I interviewed DR after the practice on Saturday and one of the questions was about the freshmen. DR: Jourdan Townsend is really, really, really coming along. thanks for asking this question Big R, I was just suggesting Townsend might be our Freshman phenom earlier in this thread.... Looks li...

Re: NDSU

After checking out the construction cams, I edited from my post this morning I'd venture to believe that the kid should understand their O scheme quite well(I'm assuming they will continue using it) and feel comfortable as he's had last year along with adjusting to the college experience and this pr...
