Re: Hens Offseason
I keep going back to teams like Charleston, JMU, Grand Canyon, St Mary’s, and others. How are they doing it? Don’t reinvent the wheel. Let’s figure out how some mid-majors are thriving in this new world and follow their example.

Chrissi Rawak named AD of the Year
Congrats to Chrissi for being recognized as one of four AD’s at the FCS level. Very much deserved!!!

Re: Jyare Davis to the Portal
Jyare is a very nice player at our level, but I worry that he may be over estimating his ability to be a significant contributor at the highest level. He didn’t even make 1st team CAA. Can he be a 10 and 5 guy at UConn, probably. Can he be a 17 and 8 guy at that level, doubtful. Regardless, wish hi...

Let’s get busy and get a legitimate big and a point guard in here asap. And somehow convince Jyare to stay!!! Another shooter would be nice, too…
Re: The Dance
Really think Charleston was worthy of a 12 seed, and wouldn’t be surprised if they give Alabama eveything they can handle. Nothing quite like the first 2 rounds of the tournament. Other possible upsets to look for include Morehead St over Illinois, JMU over Wisconsin, and Grand Canyon over Saint Mar...

Re: CAA Tournament, Quarterfinal: Hofstra
I agree…KT does a nice job. He’s in a tough spot essentially being the only reporter covering UD sports on a regular basis. Trying to balance getting access to coaches and administrators while attempting to maintain some level of objectivity can’t be easy. Hopefully Chrissi lays out very clear objec...

Re: 2024-25 CAA Offseason Guide
Williams is a really nice college player, but I don’t see him making a living in the NBA. He might be better served picking up a nice NIL payday with a P4 before heading off to big bucks overseas.

Re: CAA Tournament, Quarterfinal: Hofstra
Funny…our announcers were gushing over Hofstra after they kicked our @$$ saying they wouldn’t be surprised to see the Pride win the CAA title. Another attempt to diminish just how far we had fallen below the better teams in the league???

Re: CAA Tournament, Quarterfinal: Hofstra
Brey left mid summer of that year. Not a good time to research and vet a comparable replacement. In a panic we went back to Duke and grabbed the first assistant available. When Matt Dougherty left ND for his dream job little did we know the ramifications it would have on the direction of our progra...

Re: CAA Tournament, Quarterfinal: Hofstra
I’m just pointing out the facts that 8 years in to his tenure, and we essentially have a .500 coach (losing coach in conference). Maybe the powers that be may be satisfied with that. The two preceding coaches were underwater. This program lost its shine 24 years ago when Brey left under the worst o...
