Re: Live Construction Footage

I’m pretty sure it’s stopped now - UD campus has been declared a ghost town with two more CV cases.

Re: Season in Jeopardy

Serious question: How is attending a lacrosse game at Delaware Stadium (assuming folks are required to spread out; and god knows there's room to spread out at Delaware lacrosse games) any different from, say, walking down the street? Excellent point. The Patriot League, which can be defined as the ...

Re: The Dance

I thought UDPat was on the older side, no? Let's face it, anyone over 60, even in the best of times, should be mindful of where they go and who they interact with, especially if they have other health issues as well. And in times like this, then they should be much more concerned. And I just saw he...

Re: CORONAVIRUS CONFIRMED

Estimated that 150 million Americans could1 ultimately be infected. At an estimated 1-4% fatatlity rate that could be 1.5M-6.0M dead. Dying from this virus is not acceptable on any account, but I think your math is off. 1% of 150 million is 150k not 1.5 million. Again I hope that is not the case in...

If NO Classes then cancel ALL spring sports!
Other schools are already doing that - only the Ivies at the D-1 level so far.....but that’s probably the next step.

Re: Delaware Athletics COVID-19 Update

I don’t think they’ll even have Spring Practice now. UD just cancelled classes tomorrow and Friday. Spring break moved to next week and starting 3/23 classes are all online until further notice. The release didn’t say but if they stay consistent with other schools the dorms and dining halls will all...

Dayton shut down yesterday. No chance of playing there.
They may still play there, but with no fans:

@GoodmanHoops
Well, looks like the First Four will be played without fans. … if it’s still going to take place in Dayton.

NCAA first-round tourney site also in Cleveland.

Re: Ivy League tournament

Harvard closed for the semester. West Chester just did the same today. Delaware meeting on that same subject in next 24 hours. UD told the DIAA today they would not allow the state hoops championships to be played at the Bob this year. Multiple PA school districts shut down. The MAC tournament to be...
