Re: Fairfield: Part Deux
I was flipping back between the Big Ten and Big East tourneys and the sad sack production of the CAA. Night and day. I was getting a headache trying to focus on the terrible camera work. Worlds apart, never mind the piss poor quality of the commentators. 😱 Michigan upsets Hopkins and Nova upsets Den...

Re: Happy Portal Day…
A name I threw out there last year and he is available again this year..... Jonathan Beagle, UAlbany. 6' 9", 240 sophomore. Was all rookie as a frosh and averaged 12,5 pts and 9.5 rebounds his sophomore year. Hopefully Gerald Drumgoole can persuade him to join the Hens!!

Re: Feel the Sting
Since no one seems to care OR have the guts to post their true feelings about our blah basketball programs, I wash my hands of it. Many complain about the mediocre or incompetent level of our teams, but won't take the next step- it's like other things in today's world. Inaction on coaching terminat...

Re: Stony Brook
Look at how many replies are in the threads after wins and then look how many there are after losses. Go Hens… bigger one on Saturday Don't worry, when we probably lose on Saturday vs Drexel( who own us almost as much as Hofstra), we will hear from the usual suspects.....And it will be coaching tha...

From Albany to Miami U
Reese Poffenbarger goes in the portal and comes out at the "U". Not to shabby of an outcome for him.

Del State Schedule update
NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware, in partnership with Delaware State University, has agreed to an adjustment in the upcoming football series between the two in-state programs. With the transition to Conference USA, the Blue Hens will kick off their inaugural FBS season in 2025 against the H...
Re: Hampton
Amazing.....Some folks aren't happy unless they are miserable. A lot of pissing and moaning when the Hens weren't winning by 100 right out of the gate, but not a word spoken after then went from 10 up to 31 point lead in the second half. No comments about how the Fighting Blue Hens looked effective ...
Princeton
Some data to chew on before next week's battle with the Tigers. They are 11 -1 with the only loss to St. Joe's. Their last 2 victories were against powerhouses, Delaware Valley and Bryn Athyn. (No more complaints about Goldey Beacom). Their starting 5 are: Pierce, 6' 7", 14.5 ppg Martin, 6' 7&q...

Hofstra hanging tuff with Duke….
Re: Xavier
Houser reminds me of Jerry Lucas; same kind of long range distance shooting and even same push shot form and release. Geez, am I getting old!

Did I miss something???? Seems someone's post in this thread have been deleted. Were they deleted by the moderators or the poster.
Re: Xavier
Xavier favored by 11.5. Hopefully the Hens can overcome their lack of defense in the second half of games. Only once this year have they held their opponent to less points in the second half vs the first half. In this 3 game losing streak they have given up 47, 56, and 46 points in the second half. ...
Re: Ohio
14 made lay ups by Ohio in the second half...14! As Vizzini would say, "Inconceivable!" As I said in the first half, dribble drive penetration is the Achilles heel for the hens defense. As Dave said, why not try a zone for a few trips down the floor. Terrible adjustment. Hens will get blow...
