Re: Jyare Davis to the Portal

Wonder who is next? "Incoming transfers Zion Bethea and Niels Lane, who committed to Delaware in the past week, are New Jersey residents who first played together in middle school on the King Street Kings AAU squad. “The reason I chose Delaware was because I already have chemistry with the guys...

Re: Jyare Davis to the Portal

Why cant Martin keep any talent in Newark? Come on man! Take a look at college basketball. It's tough to fault Davis considering his graduation and probable move to a Power 5 school, where he'll likely receive a substantial NIL deal. Have you contributed to the Blue Hen collective to help pay Delaw...

Re: CAA TOURNAMENT

The buzz is gone.

I live about 45 minutes from the arena and I'm not going this year. The poor play and the late start time are to blame.

Re: Northeastern

I don't often label a game against a 12-17 conference opponent as a "must-win," but after getting beat at home by Charleston and Drexel, I hope the team can come out tonight and handle their business. It's the last home game of the year and senior night. Will the real Blue Hens please show...

Re: Drexel II

Getting a good big man in the CAA is always a challenge, but I'm curious about what the plan was for the frontcourt going into the season. Did Ingelsby and Phillips think Houser, Ray, and Davis were enough in the frontcourt? Houser needs to get stronger, and I think he has a good skill set, but righ...

Re: Drexel II

The team can definitely grind out some wins but they are not good enough to compete for the CAA title from what I've seen this year. They are a middle of the pack team in a middle of the pack mid major. I fully expect Drexel to win tonight by double digits. The Blue Hens just aren't good enough. The...

Re: Charleston

In the age of NIL and NCAA programs raking in donor money, I'm surprised that the football stadium and basketball arena don't have a corporate sponsor. Companies like DuPont, WL Gore, and numerous banks could easily invest in the university and secure naming rights. I'm unsure why this hasn't occurr...

Re: Elon

Absolutely deflating losing this game. Win the games you're supposed to win!

Houser and Reilly 1-11 from 3.... terrible

Davis and Drumgoole 5-12 from FT... terrible

5 assist / 16 turnovers... terrible

Ingelsby needs to have his team up for games like this.

Re: Towson

Solid win for the Hens! Was in a attendance and noticed during the first half the team was playing fast, moving without the ball, and things seemed like they had a lot of energy. In the 2nd half things slowed down and the game got messy, not sure if this can be attributed to Skerry's defensive schem...

Re: Monmouth Hawks

We all just want to see them win, I could care less how the game is played. Win at home and the fans will come. During their "peak" years of the late 90s, the Blue Hens rarely lost at home, even if the opponent wasn't good the Bob was packed. After the move to the CAA and a much tougher c...

He'll go down as one of the most underrated Blue Hen players. He's 6'6 and is tasked with playing power forward and guarding the opposing team's bigger stronger guys. He does this and is almost averaging a double-double 9 points and 8.9 rebounds on the season while leading the team in True Shooting ...

Re: Towson

Hens win by 5 Delaware holds the advantage in consistency (118th in the nation), suggesting a more reliable performance. Additionally, their slightly faster pace might disrupt Towson, which tends to pump the brakes. A low scoring game plays well into Delaware's strengths. If Delaware can maintain th...
