Re: They're Back Again - Sixers 2019-20

You lose more and more credibility with each passing day. The Process: MCW Elfrid Payton traded for Saric who went to the Wolves for Butler, ended up with nothing Jahlil Okafor Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot Markelle Fultz and we traded up and gave a great asset away Mikal Bridges, good pick that was trad...

Re: Live Construction Footage

Looks good, like it coming into shape. Can't wait to see it in person in September.

Re: They're Back Again - Sixers 2019-20

Could everything fall their way? I guess it can but is that what all the years of the process was suppose to result in? Yes, we have two all-stars (legit) and we have just as much chance as anyone else in the East (except I'll give you the Bucks) to win the East. The process worked really well. Now...

Re: They're Back Again - Sixers 2019-20

Long break now without basketball. A good 9 days between games with the all-star break this weekend. Just hoping Embiid doesn't hurt himself during the all-star festivities and needs to sit out an extended time prior to the real season, the playoffs. Sixers show once again that their ceiling is high...

Re: STATS: Four FCS playoff staples seek a return in 2020

It's been nine seasons (2010) since the Hens have been a legitimate playoff caliber team. Sure they made they playoffs in 2018 with a modest 7-4 record, but that was due to the fact that the field had been expanded to 24 teams. What makes this even more frustrating is the fact that the quality of p...

Did Walker get cut? I didn't see him on any final rosters. Adewusi is still there in Dallas, didn't see Walker though.

Re: They're Back Again - Sixers 2019-20

Maybe they're just laying in the weeds, doing the whole Rope a Dope ala Ali? Yeah, they're playing like dogs right now, and I echo the concern long term about Embiid. People like to harp on Simmons and the will he or won't he shoot thing, but the reason this team is a team with a switch is bec...

Re: They're Back Again - Sixers 2019-20

If they don't make significant progress in the playoffs this year - and that significant is be in a position to win the Eastern Conference at a minimum, and really make it to the NBA Finals) - you could see Embiid or Simmons moved. It's a tough pairing to win with traditionally, hence why they've ta...

Re: Cubit

Quibble all you want. But we have a coach who's now in the last year of his contract, without an extension, and from everyone's opinions it is a very lucrative contract relative the rest of the CAA and FCS. You rarely see coaches coach in the last year of a contract as it raises uncertainty as to w...

Re: Cubit

Let's face it, if we had unlimited resources and were an FBS school with a rabid fanbase Rocco would've been fired during the season last year. He's a dead man walking when it comes to head coaching and everyone knows it. He's only here now because we can't afford to pay the rest of his contract to...

Re: Cubit

Interesting that the first HZ response on this thread is to put his hands in the air, say there's nothing wrong here, and say that the meatball crowd has known this all along and the guy is just retiring. And then KT gets the interview and Cubit blows all of that out of the water as he definitely wa...

Re: Live Construction Footage

Not to shake too many branches here, but anyone else think it's odd that they aren't even close to getting the building buttoned up yet, here in mid January? I don't know how fancy the interior of the building is going to be, but if it's going to be a showcase you would think it's going to be pretty...

Re: They're Back Again - Sixers 2019-20

What are they, like 7-5 so far in games against the teams in front of them in the standings? And that includes games without Embiid, and those games are evenly split between home and away. Not sure the excitement to jump off the bandwagon. This team gets to the playoffs fully healthy, regardless of ...
