Re: If Rocco Isn't the Answer, Who's Next Man Up?

Bump. Didn't use any of our 12 tickets today. High school kid had a soccer tournament so there was that, but I think only one of my kids asked me if UD was even playing today. Doing what I can to inspire the next generation of Blue Hen fan but it's been uphill climbing when the football level is thi...

Re: Live Construction Footage

Hey, as long as everything is finished by late August next year, I don't care how they do it.

Re: Rocco - An Objective evaluation?

Nope, watched every game so far except for the Pitt game - the number of times they send the house are few and far between. Certainly has happened, but it's not a frequent part of the gameplan. Now you've done it, I'm gonna have to go back and watch those disasters with my pitch count clicker. :win...

Paying Harris a max deal looks like a really dumb decision so far....
That's where the real problem lies - he's throwing stinker game after stinker game in there right now. And he's not playing good defense on top of that. If there's a contract they regret, it's looking like that one.

Re: They're Back Again - Sixers 2019-20

And the result? A 15-point loss. Boston at 9-1 while the load-managed Sixers dive to 5th place. But, hey, Joel got his "rest". Celtics have a 5 game stretch starting tomorrow on the west coast. We'll see who they are after that. Boston is 9-1 with being 2-1 in games against Eastern conference top o...

Re: 19th

UD's "traditional" end-of-year opponent Villanova was foe No. 2 in the 1994-98 seasons. That was because of the Pope's visit , I believe. The pontiff visited five years in a row? Villanova was third game in 2015. Maybe that's what you're thinking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Francis%27s_2015...

Re: Best Blue Hen QB Ever

Nah, it's Gannon without a doubt. Could throw like Flacco, could run like Vergantino, and he excelled on a team that wasn't even all that good (as evidenced by them losing to West Chester a year or two after Gannon left).

Re: Rocco - An Objective evaluation?

I think it's some of both - it's not like we're sending 7, 8, or 9 very much, if ever. It's remarkable when we send more than 4, so I highly doubt there's more than a one hand number of times that we've sent much more than that. You must have missed some games. They sent more than that 5/6/7 times ...

Re: Rocco - An Objective evaluation?

Even if we go 8-3 and lose in the first round of the playoffs (assuming 8-3 doesn't get us a bye) is that enough to extend Rocco another few years? Rocco's not a spring chicken, he'll be 60 years old before next season. #1 YES #2, not sure how old you are but to suggest that folks are on their decl...

Re: They're Back Again - Sixers 2019-20

Hey, just facing reality, load management is a real thing. The Spurs really developed it when they won all those titles with Tim Duncan, and then Khawi winning the title last year after doing so much load management during the year just cemented it. We could ignore it if we want to, but it'll happen...

Re: CAA NUMBERS

I know people thought that Ambrose was this offensive genius who was going to solve all of our problems but other than his first year with West and his last year with Flacco, his offenses were worse then ours statistically during that stretch. Keep in mind this might be the worst stretch of offense...

Re: Rocco - An Objective evaluation?

Delaware has recorded 6 sacks this season. It has given up 33. I am not going to scour the nation's stats for a more ridiculous disparity, but that's incredible. Folks on the Board like to talk about getting more aggressive. OK, aggressive with what? When you can't get there with 7, 8, 9, whatever,...

Re: Rocco - An Objective evaluation?

Pretty much with the exception of Elon, Delaware has been right there in every game. 4-6 plays per contest have doomed the Hens. The line play is very sub-standard and the 3 man rush is painful to watch but....there is talent on this team. Outside of JMU, there isn't another team in this conference...

Re: They're Back Again - Sixers 2019-20

First of all, they're going to get in the playoffs (so yes, they'll make at least the Eastern quarterfinals, which are technically the first round of the playoffs) , let's not be crazy here. They had a crappy night. Harris literally couldn't miss more shots, too many possessions had Embiid holding t...

Keeler is 60 & 23 at SHSU & the "fan base" wants him fired!
If he could have done that here he might still be parking his porsche in his reserved spot at Kates and eating the famous KC Cobb Salad.
The hate was/is strong in this one.
