Re: Only two months to Kick Off

Big Sky announced today that most of the conference will play a conference schedule this spring with the intent to qualify for the postseason tournament, but surprisingly Montana, Montana St, and Portland St are joining Sacramento St and will not participate. They'll still do something, but they wo...

Re: Troy Reeder

Having actually gotten to watch his past two games rather than just reading the stat line (and no offense, but reading a stat line of how many tackles he has tells you almost nothing about how he plays - a tackle at the line of scrimmage adds up the same as a tackle 20 yards downfield, but one is be...

Re: Will Knight

We'll agree to disagree. College sports grew tremendously under the restrictive transfer rule. The "wild west free agent bidding" is going to prove harmful to all but the top college programs and to all college athletes except those who go on to pro careers. Of course it grew tremendously. You had ...

Just looking at the images of their new arena, why would they put the second tier of seats behind the baskets?
Looks like the second tier go all the way around the arena. Looks pretty good.

Re: Will Knight

Gannonfan, there is no need for concenrs about fair play and relative competitive balance when the student non-athlete seekd to transfer. Even the pros don;t allow players to have this much freedom to move. "Competitive balance" matters more than player's personal freedom and where they want...

Re: Will Knight

This is nothing new, it's been going on for awhile & may only increase later in 2021. People are taking note now that UD lost 2 players in a week, including what many believed was the Hens' best playmaker. Spring will be interesting, FBS schools will be having Spring practices while most FCS school...

Re: Culture

So with Will & Debo leaving.....is it a cultural issue? Meaning they see they are going to be subpar, a coaching issue or they just wanted a bigger program? Valid question. Another question...if these kids don't have any loyalty to the school and the uniform, then why should fans have loyalty to th...

Re: Live Construction Footage

Yea, because those things are so hard to change. So much better to turn down that money than have some font ever be changed. Agreed, they didn't bring out stoneworkers and etched this into the stone itself (yes, there is no stone, I know), so when and if they want to get a fresh look and matc...

The TD/INT ratio for the top two, ouch.
Kinda like what you see from any QB comparison to the NFL back in the 80's and earlier versus the NFL now. You could mug receivers back then and get away with it. Can't even really touch them now, and the passing performance reflects that.

Re: Live Construction Footage

Agreed, looks pretty good. I thought from BH's post that it would be hideous but it goes nicely with the building. It's a nice touch.

Re: Live Construction Footage

Don't forget the 2016 Field Hockey National Championship! Sally in RI Delaware Stadium is home to the Football and Lacrosse teams but If they wanted to put up an eighth flag for the Field Hockey team, I'm good with that too! :) I would be amazed if the women’s team in 1983 ever set foot on the fiel...

I am no longer getting the live construction feed from the cameras at the Whitney. Are they down?
I still see them so they should be good.
