Jon Rothstein tweeted that the Ivy league has cancelled all fall sports and no sports will be played before Jan 1 2021. That wipes out the OOC schedule for those schools thus affecting OOC for the schools who were scheduled.
Thats the sound of the first domino.

Pretty elitist to say no NEC and MEAC games and think the Big Ten will won’t say no CAA games.

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

No link so I’m going rouge here. If schools allow fans, a big if at this point, and if they do they limit the number of fans (say STH only), will the away team be offered any tickets at all? My guess is no. If they do find a way to play, my being in attendance is a bonus. I’d miss going to games eve...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

Can someone tell us what the hospitalization/ fatality rate is for college age kids? We've seen the news about "student athletes" testing positive for CV but no follow up reports on their conditions. Put the professors in a positive air pressure bubble and get the kids to class. Small numbers of th...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

No surprise, Fordham @ Hawaii canceled. Ivy & Patriot may both wait until spring to play football.

Von Miller of the Denver Broncos called the disease a “surreal” experience and said he struggled at first to work out. Other athletes have endured lingering lung and other health issues.

Re: Lafayette cancels on Navy - Sept 12th

BHTC bus trips, if there are any (if fans are allowed with limits, will visiting schools get any tickets?) the bus trip itself will be sold out at 26 riders so the 2 seats a couple occupy will have no one in the seats in front of, behind and across from them. The buses themselves now have plexiglass...

Re: Lafayette cancels on Navy - Sept 12th

There is a better than average chance the CAA will not look equal or fair, depending on the decisions each school makes. No doubt some of those decisions will be to adhere to state mandates as well. Maine may only play CAA games within their pod; home-home against Albany, Rhode Island and New Hampsh...

Re: Lafayette cancels on Navy - Sept 12th

Also, Mike London said some schools have discussed home-home CAA games.

Maine is scheduled at Richmond on 9/26. Delaware could host Richmond instead of Lafayette that day.

That puts a Delaware back to 8 CAA games; 4 home and 4 away.

Re: Lafayette cancels on Navy - Sept 12th

If the Patriot League is not playing before 9/19 or 9/26, these are the affected games. 8/29 … Fordham @ Stony Brook … canceled 9/4 … Colgate @ Western Michigan … canceled 9/4 … Stony Brook @ Western Michigan … added 9/3 … Lehigh @ Villanova 9/5 … Lafayette @ Sacred Heart 9/5 … Georgetown @ Marist 9...

This is the week UD is currently scheduled to go to Maine.
Looking at the expense side the Hens would eliminate the expense of a $85,000 charter air flight.
