Re: Flacco starting this week

Dont get me wrong, I think Jackson is a wonderful player but he does NOT face anywhere near the scrutiny Flacco did. The media is just starting to say Jackson has trouble with some throws downfield BUT they bring up his receivers. Are you kidding me? Look at the group hes had the last 2 years. As g...

Tresolini's tweet confirms that Anderson, Allen and Painter will all have eligibility for both 2020-21 and 2021-22. That is huge for the UD program.
If they stay together. Every time I get excited about our nucleus returning, one of them leaves.

Re: Troy Reeder

Wow...I didn't see the game, but that has to be in consideration for Defensive Player of the Week. What a a day for Troy. I'm assuming he finally started today, as he hasn't been getting a ton of playing time this season up to this point. He got the start in place of Micah Kiser, their leading tack...

Re: Mens Basketball recruiting 21'

He looks very crafty in the lane and in transition. Nice range too. I like that his video led with the 3.9 GPA - likely a good kid with his head screwed on straight.

Hope the interest from Stanford and Xavier isn't too strong...

Re: Nate Darling

Devil's advocate here: Sorry for the tough talk, but not talented or athletic enough for the NBA. Overseas? Well, of the guys who have come through here in the past and done that, he's not quite at their level. He can make it but we shall see. They have Covid overseas too. College ball may be in je...

Re: Nate Darling

Not the outcome I wanted or expected but, now that it’s done, I wish him all the best.

It seems this program just can’t get a break. A lot of us have been saying for several years that 20-21 could be a magical season. Not looking so likely at this moment. Heck, we might not even have a season.

Re: 2020-2021 Season

Nice! They both look great. Thanks for sharing this Dave. I agree with your comments about Arletti. We have a pretty good precedent with Kevin Anderson's in that his length as a 6'5" PG has been helpful from a match up standpoint at times. Any sense for how athletic Arletti is? I"m wondering about ...

Re: MI Grabs A Transfer Forward

Time will tell, of course. My take, as others have said before, is that Coach Phillips is quite good at developing big men. If so, Ochefu could be a good "ingredient" piece or if he really develops fill the void for Painter after this year. As for this season: my bet - and maybe key to the season, i...

Re: Mutts

Looking at the VT message board, sentiment is that this is their deepest team in years and it could be tough to keep everyone happy with enough PT. Now that the decision is made, I hope it works out for Justyn. It will be interesting to see how Mutts and Horton do in the ACC. If their experiences ar...

Re: Transfer season

Is there a specific date that players need to make their transfer decision by? Or do they basically just have to decide before the beginning of the fall semester? I looked on the NCAA site and couldn't find anything specific. I'm trying to get a sense for when we should know for sure whether or not ...

Re: Mutts

I understand The concerns about team chemistry IF he decides to stay. That was one of my first thoughts too. However, it’s possible that he talked through this with his teammates and coaches in advance. Maybe they are more forgiving than we assume. Or there are other factors they know and we don’t. ...

Re: Mutts

Tough one indeed. It will be interesting to see where he lands. I thought things were lining up well for him to be part of something really special here next year so it’s definitely puzzling on the surface. Maybe it’s more than a basketball decision.
