Re: Flacco starting this week

Dont get me wrong, I think Jackson is a wonderful player but he does NOT face anywhere near the scrutiny Flacco did. The media is just starting to say Jackson has trouble with some throws downfield BUT they bring up his receivers. Are you kidding me? Look at the group hes had the last 2 years. As g...

Re: Flacco starting this week

All week long on ESPN the analysts have been discussing the Ravens recent struggles especially on Offense. Almost all of them feel that Lamar Jackson doesn't have the Offensive skill players to play to their potential. I really did have to laugh at those guys. Joe Flacco used to get hammered by the...

Re: Nate Darling

This was probably one of the easier decisions Nate Darling has made in his life. I am sure it was much easier than his decision to leave Canada as a 10th grader to come to the US or to leave UAB to come to UD. Darling is going to get paid to play basketball for someone, somewhere. Playing at best a ...

Re: MBB 2020-2021 Schedule

There won’t even be a choice to make but it would have been any easy one. There will be no attendance at UD basketball games. And as the virus continues to rage, the season is starting to get in jeopardy. But with the good news on the vaccine front, it is looking better for a close to normal regular...

Re: College Football TV Schedule and Game Discussion

There will probably be more next week Henny. The rise in cases is at a tremendous rate as there were almost unbelievably 193,000 cases nationally yesterday. For context, it was terrible on October 29 when the daily cases hit 90,000 and when the NYC area and others were getting crushed in the spring,...

Re: College Football TV Schedule and Game Discussion

Delaying CFP and bowl games discussions starting due to the raging virus. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/30308874/big-12-commissioner-bob-bowlsby-says-college-football-playoff-delay-being-discussed Bad times here and worse ahead. Glad we live where we do and hope we can hold of the...

Re: College Football TV Schedule and Game Discussion

Anybody have any recent stats on viewership for games? Virtual signaling here, but I haven’t watched much. I wonder if others are watching less? I saw an article from late October that said viewership is down 30 percent from last year. The Clemson - Notre Dame game was the second highest rating Not...

Re: College Football TV Schedule and Game Discussion

Add Georgia-Missouri to the list. It’s only Wednesday, but that’s 4 of 7 SEC games. And good thing the UTEP game is on the road. Even worse juxtapositioning than Michigan playing a home game when their students were in a stay in your dorm order as part of a county wide stay at home order, it wouldn’...

Re: couldn't resist

Yep Sally. Pretty comical taking down a thread about POTUS-elect 46 being a former UD football player.

Now back to watching the completion of the WAC punch list. I read about a blue wall. I liked that.

Re: College Football TV Schedule and Game Discussion

Is anyone following the games getting postponed or cancelled? They are everywhere including Alabama-LSU, Texas A&M-Tennessee, Auburn-Miss St. Will there be any SEC games this weekend? The CFP winner may be the last team standing and be more about luck and virus avoidance than talent and coaching.

Re: couldn't resist

It wasn’t just the “headlines”, it was the CEO. Whatever the dudes name is, I heard the CEO say a few times over the last two days they did their own development so it wouldn’t be politicized. You might not like it, but he said it. And after the HCX circle jerk, can you blame him? And what part of “...

Re: couldn't resist

Welcome back Cluck. The CEO said they got zero dollars for the development because they didn’t want it politicized. Yah think??? No investigative journalism needed. He has said it many times including the other day. I do believe my own eyes and ears.

Re: couldn't resist

I know it is a hypothetical, but if allowed you wouldn’t really attend a packed area now would you? Just trying to clarify the extremist comment. If allowed? Following all guidelines, of course! The liklihood of such is minimal, because of the winter terror that is almost upon us. I also look forwa...

Re: couldn't resist

Despite Mr. Negativity's constant posting that the world is over, we will be moving closer to societal norms rather quickly. https://www.hhs.gov/about/news/2020/07/22/us-government-engages-pfizer-produce-millions-doses-covid-19-vaccine.html Define “rather quickly” Mr. I Don’t Know What to Believe. ...
