They are retiring Marcus Thornton’s number today at halftime. Last time Thornton was on the court, we ended his season in CAA finals. Let’s remind him of it today with a win. Freshman Ayesa went 5-5 (4-4 from 3) in Newark which I felt was the difference maker. I would like to see our guards go at Kn...
Because our defense is not very good. Whether its due to depth or ability, we do not play an aggressive defense...more a bend/dont break style. Not complaining as we have won 7 in a row but it puts the team in too many games like last night. Just looking at this in a realistic light....not sure what...
We have an opportunity to move into a tie for 2nd or be alone in 2nd with a win and outcome of Charleston/Hofstra game. Elon has been a difficult opponent for us since they joined the CAA. Hopefully the team comes out ready to play and we see some good D Elon is 1-9 when giving up 70 or more points.

Speaking of schedules...we have a tough remaining 6 games. What looked like easy games earlier in the year (Elon/UNCW), now appear to be not the case. We also have Charleston, WM and Hofstra plus a Northeastern team that its last 6 losses have been by 3 pts or less.
Jacob played extended minutes yesterday. Thought he did some good things...made a nice move at end of game to find Anderson. With that said, need to hit at least 1 of those 4 three pointers.

We lost ground despite winning yesterday. Now at 181. Somehow Northeastern is still leading the CAA despite being 6-6 in conf and 11-13 overall. They actually moved up 6 spots losing at Hofstra.
