Re: 2024 Baseball

Tough one this weekend against first place Northeastern. Come in 25-7 and sit right outside the top 25 in a few polls.

Soccer headed to the Summit League. I’m somewhat surprised they couldn’t find something closer. Other teams include Denver, UMKC, St Thomas Minnesota, Oral Roberts, and Omaha. Talk about travel.

Re: Gerald Drumgoole, Jr.

Adapt or die…it’s really that simple. Other schools at the mid-major level have navigated this new portal world well. Feels like we haven’t been as successful as others. And I’m beginning to have significant concerns that players are losing confidence in MI and the program, in general. Next year is...

Re: Hens Offseason

I keep going back to teams like Charleston, JMU, Grand Canyon, St Mary’s, and others. How are they doing it? Don’t reinvent the wheel. Let’s figure out how some mid-majors are thriving in this new world and follow their example. Charleston in search now for a new head coach, though I’m sure it’ll b...

Re: 2024 Baseball

Another W yesterday but another game where a starter gets rocked and only goes 1.2 innings, 3 hits, 3 runns on 56 pitches. You’re going to be posting this a lot. Hens are pretty thin on pitching right now. Going to have to outhit teams, which they’re doing a pretty good job of doing over the past w...
