Re: The Odds: Liberty
I haven’t been watching the games online or on TV very often but do we ever play a zone defense. With our current level of athleticism and number of injuries, it seems like we should be playing a zone defense to protect the paint and stop dribble penetration, conserve energy, and disrupt offenses by...

Re: Fears Confirmed..
The TE appears to be more of a blocking tight end. Perhaps Carty envisions him in a H-back role.

Re: Fears Confirmed..
Graves had 35 receptions last year for 330 yards. Seems more than minimal production. He was the team’s second leading pass catcher. He was also their main punt returner.

Re: Coaching Additions
I have no idea how this coaching hire will work out but I see nothing unusual in his resume. It’s pretty normal for position coaches to move around between schools to gain experience. Hopefully, he can improve the performance of our secondary and help with our Florida recruiting.

Re: Demboski/Kolagbodi
Really good news, I was hoping we’d keep both of these players. I thought both played well. As a true freshman, I thought Kolagbodi showed good coverage skills against some experienced and talented receivers. He just needs to work on turning around for the ball to avoid pass interference calls but t...

Re: The Odds: Kennesaw State
The number of injuries are definitely puzzling. It’s not just the men’s basketball team. The women’s team had to forfeit games last year due to injuries.

Re: Noah Matthews
I was worried we would lose Streeter. That’s great news. We need at least two starting caliber QBs especially considering the physical style Nick plays with.

Re: Fears Confirmed..
I think Wake Forest’s very good DL were all transfers from lower division schools. Phil Lutz was from a D3 school. There are some very talented players in the lower divisions. We just need to do the proper due diligence to find and evaluate them.

Player Development
I know it’s early and we haven’t seen them in Spring Practice, but what are your initial thoughts on what current players you anticipate making big strides in their development for next year. My initial thoughts are: Scott Moore (6-5, 235) (TE) - Although he had a critical drop in the Sam Houston ga...

Gavin had 111 total tackles and was the 3rd leading tackler in CUSA. Really glad he’s coming back.

Re: Minicucci Staying
I have no idea about the nil money Nick could have gotten elsewhere but strictly from the standpoint of an offense that is well suited for his skill set, it would be difficult to imagine that he could achieve the same level of personal success elsewhere. Strictly in terms of personal stats for his l...
