Re: I’m awake - UD to CUSA

I was up there in November, caught two hen games and the Thursday night ravens game against the Bengals. My cousin parked at the inner harbor, off eastern Ave. and walked all the way around the harbor and uphill to the stadium. No problem in the daylight, but I felt VERY uneasy walking all the way b...

Re: CAA Tournament, Quarterfinal: Hofstra

Terrible last four minutes ruined a fairly well played first half. Turnovers are the difference right now, Hens have committed 9 turnovers so far, Hofstra 1.

Re: CFP Approves 5+7 Playoff Format

Baltimore Hen is 100% correct, the big boys are going to take their ball and go play amongst themselves, not sharing that money in a million years. I'm glad and sad about the move up, but in all honesty it was a sideways move to keep us in that area that we keep up with our former contemporaries lik...

Re: Just The Numbers

Ray is the ultimate garbage collector for the hens, I doubt they run anything for him, but he gets his points, always seems to be in good rebounding position, and does all of the dirty work to allow others to shine. The ultimate glue guy in my opinion.

Re: William & Mary II

Thanks for the info Hen90, I thought it had to be an anomaly. I see we have been holding our own on the boards in the past few wins, we don't have to dominate the rebounding, but we have to just hold our own to win.

Re: William & Mary II

Just a question for those on the board who actually go to the games, I noticed the stats for yesterday's game, and we had only 5 assists for the entire game? Are we that much of a one on one playing team, is it the lack of a true point guard? That stat just blew me away. I live here in East Tennesse...

Re: William & Mary

Well we shot 60% for the game, 40% from the 3pt line, won the rebounding battle, and had assists on half of our FG makes. And played pretty good defense as well. That Delaware team that we saw last night, although admittedly against a bad team, can finish in the top three of this conference. Let's s...

Re: Towson

We shot terribly, we turned the ball over a lot, and other than Ray(11 boards) we got beat like a drum on the boards. Aren't going to beat any good teams like that period.

Re: Fun Football Trivia

I was at that last Navy game at the tub, I think it was 1989 and navy missed I believe was a 27 yd FG in the final seconds and the hens won 10-9.

Yes we finally won a close game. We made winning plays in the final 4:00 of the game and obviously winning plays win games. Lol. And you bet, when I looked at the stats after the game, hell yes Davis is a special player.

Yes we've lost five straight to JMU, but as I recall they were all pretty close games. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Re: 2024 Schedule

Look it really comes down to this, the next two years are truly TRANSITION years. Yes win as many games as we can, but no matter if we are 11-0 or 0-11 our season is over after the clock hits 0:00 in our last game, no playoffs, very very likely no bowl game. Let's get everything together and ready, ...

Re: Post Season Tidbits #2 Coach Carty Interview

Great report Big R, very informative. I think that RC is as confused as the rest of it when it comes to the new rules landscape with the transfer portal and exactly who and what positions to try to bring in. But he got some good players to Newark last year and I have utmost confidence that he will d...

Re: Uniform question?

I wholeheartedly agree Sally, the fight song as I've pointed out before is FIGHT FOR THE BLUE AND GOLD!!! Lol. I don't mind the yellow as a substitute for gold pants, but I'm a big time traditionalist at heart. One week a season for a big game or special occasion for alternate uniforms, period.

Re: Rider Wed 7pm

I've only got to watch 4 of the hens games this year, but I do think houser is going to be a good shooter. But I've noticed in the games I've watched he has gotten in foul trouble pretty quickly in each game it seems. Anybody else have a comment about that?
