Re: Week 1 Depth Chart

Question: How long has DE Brandan Hall been practicing full time? I though he was still being held out. I haven't been since Monday and he was not practicing then and hadn't been dressed for some time prior. We'll see Thursday who is playing where but there's plenty of contradictions on the officia...

Nova smacks around the same Colgate that beat JMU in playoffs last year?

No, Colgate lost a ton of starters and it was obvious. QB Smith looked good for the Mildcats. Campbell University transfer with 2 years of eligibility left. Colgate was never in the game .

Re: Week 1 Depth Chart

It's kind of...odd, that Rocco lists 12 positions on each side of the ball on depth charts. However, the real thing to take notice of is how dangerously thin the OL is, at least on paper. I am sure if there's an injury they would probably slide Mario or Chuka around but Cathers and Nixon are 2's? N...

Re: Week 1 Depth Chart

Amachi came out of obscurity for me, but great for him. Gilmore at RG was a little surprising. Covatto over Ashworth was a surprise, but I suspect they wanted a little more weight in the middle. We discussed that a lot last year, but Ashworth stuck. He played hard and I thought better as the season...

Re: Week 1 Depth Chart

I found the depth chart a bit puzzling as I saw some different combinations in the last week or so. It will all play out on Thursday. I'm looking for an 8-4 season and a win against Nova. Do this and the playoffs could well be in the picture. 8 wins with a Nova loss doesn't do it for me. We desperat...

Re: Final Scrimmage?

On Bluehens.com, they have Kitchen listed @ 290 and DT, so he's moved from DE? And Ashworth listed @ 255... any chance he's playing DE? Now that we've moved to a 4-3 the positioning will take care of itself. What works will be the norm. Of the top 6, Walsh has only played DE and Ashworth & Hemingwa...

Re: INCOMING FRESHMAN

Carrib is always looking for a '"phenom" , year after year and I was just trying to deliver one in Knight. It's gonna be a long season and the newbies can certainly jump out of the pack and make some noise but so far " really good " according to Rocco means playing with the 2nd or 3rd teams and maki...

Re: INCOMING FRESHMAN

We've seen a comment questioning Pribula's height, can anyone comment on his passing and movement in practices? Also, Paoletti has to be developing pretty well by now, right? Pribula is the 5th string QB and will move to 4th before long but a long, long way to go. Paoletti is #3 and is much improve...

Re: INCOMING FRESHMAN

Interesting response from Danny because the freshman, so far, have been buried on the depth chart at practice. Townsend got a shot when Zimmerman injured his shoulder and Jourdan was running with the 2's but he still has 5 guys playing in front of him as of today. Miller hasn't practiced in pads for...
