Re: Nate Darling

There’s also a chance (please NO) that he could graduate and take his skills to a bigger school as a grad transfer. More likely than leaving early for the NBA Nate will get good and honest feedback from the staff and their connections and he has his own NBA connections from his DeMatha days as well...

Re: 1x Transfer Proposal

The subject is not worth debating as they will eventually move forward towards free agency and the obnoxiousness that will come with the result. The big will get bigger and better and the lessers will flock together and grabble for the crumbs. There is a system now that allows for a change in heart ...

Re: Northeastern

I'm beyond giving a wahoo about the attendance. One of the best Blue Hen efforts in memory.

2500 true fans . How about Power Pat pinning the Grinch at center court during halftime !!!

Re: 1x Transfer Proposal

First proposed a year ago by the B1G and tabled at that time, a NCAA working group is currently considering a 1x / don’t have to sit transfer rule. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2876937-ncaa-working-group-proposes-waiver-change-for-immediate-d1-transfer-eligibility If passed , the availabilit...

Re: WBB is truly terrible

I just looked at the box and thought it was from a CYO game. I think this team’s collective goal is to get the season over. I know my goal is to get this season over also. I attended a CYM game prior and made an effort to drive to Newark just as the game started ; the middle school girls were more ...

Re: Another QB???

I’m thinking he is a walk- on. The coaches don’t discuss walk ones at official signing events and are not publicized by the University through twitter or other social media. Speaking of walk-ons : RB Noah Robinson has just entered the transfer portal. Does that make him a walk-off ? Also OL Kyle Ca...

Re: Baseball 2020

Highly unusual for a cold weather team to go south and win consistently against a warm weather team early in the season. The women's team lost their only game so far to a Florida team Rookies is rookies and are inexperienced. It's just common sense. My guess is that Jim gets the full season.

Thanks for some logical thinking 72.

Re: Baseball 2020

Looks like 0-2 in this trip so far. If they have a terrible start like last year, how long of a leash does Sherman have? Pleasant thought after the 1st day of the season. Playing a Florida school in your opener is certainly a huge disadvantage and UD had 9 new players in the lineup. I don't have a ...

Re: STATS: Four FCS playoff staples seek a return in 2020

It's been nine seasons (2010) since the Hens have been a legitimate playoff caliber team. Sure they made they playoffs in 2018 with a modest 7-4 record, but that was due to the fact that the field had been expanded to 24 teams. What makes this even more frustrating is the fact that the quality of p...

Re: STATS: Four FCS playoff staples seek a return in 2020

I was surprised when Keeler was on that Top 150 list. His record here speaks for itself - both good and not so good. Saying "the 149th best college football coach ..." is funny to me and keeps things stirred up in the hot stove season. Throw the chum and you get the sharks. Just wanted to make sure...

Re: STATS: Four FCS playoff staples seek a return in 2020

The 149th best college football coach in history, a common Hen opponent and a bad-memory Hen opponent mentioned .... Hens are not. http://www.fcs.football/cfb/story.asp?i=20200211091120553826104 That's the 2nd time in the last 30 days you have reminded us of #149 and you posted the original list in...

Re: Hero Sports nationwide recruiting rankings

Nobody should be surprised about the transfer situation. These are 18-20 year olds and lot of intangibles involved. Why did Will Knight play spring ball at ODU when everyone in New Castle County knew he was headed north to Newark? Why did Darius Wade announce every summer he was transfering to the H...
