Re: Hero Sports realignment article has UD in the American

This is always a fun exercise but like we mentioned before, UD partnering with JMU, UConn, UMass should be a given in a new American. I think academic parity still plays into any move. Thus, SDSU and Boise St to the Pac-12, IMO, isn't realistic. BYU really is the only fit. Oh and why would Buffalo ...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

My son in law has Eagles season tix, he told me they are taking the field level seats and reserving them for ads. Looking forward to play with no fans in the stadium - if they play at all. I believe the NFL and NCAA FB are about to get a big "time out".

Re: NJ Article on Spending

"The athletic department received just $710,000 from donor contributions in 2017-18, below the FCS median, according to the Knight Commission . With the exception of several Historically Black Colleges and Universities, most FCS schools had a larger percentage of their revenue from those sources th...

This does not bode well for the resumption of football this fall at any level.

As far as the NFL goes, they should cancel the entire season.

Pretty amazing how often Assanis "misspeaks."
Rumor has it, that's why he is rarely seen in public without the Mrs...
Come on man, President Assanis is not that bad off.

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

They're going to need a real plan that forsees a lot of the issues and gives guidelines. The tennis pros were playing a small tournament in the front of crowds in Croatia and moving along. The final was set between Djokovic and a Russian named Rublev when it was reported a player knocked out the da...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references. Post by wacko4flacco » Sun Jun 21, 2020 2:45 am I have zero expectation of football until 2021. I would agree with your statement of 2021 for football. I would say all sports except for golf, and horse racing will not take place until nex...

Not sure if someone posted this already. Looks good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up6C-VeQj60 Well, looks like the Concourse will be quite different, basically enclosed between the WAC and the stadium. Did I see a Klondike Kate's sign there? The Fight Song will really reverberate through that sp...

Hey, got two, we do! One of my best takeaways from the App St. game in Chattanooga, prior to the game. After the game, they had three. Recruiting needs to pick up big time.

Re: UD to cut Sports?

So, what is it that Title IX requires? Equal money in schollies, equal cost in staffs and operation, equal number of athltetes or what? Because, as said, a sport like cross country shouldn't cost too much and scholarships for a school like UD (not U of Oregon, for example) are probably minimal.

Re: Report: DelState In Talks To Acquire Wesley

I wonder if UD took a look? Maybe It could be set up like the OLD PSU program where "marginal" students attended a "satellite campus" for 2 years & then either received an Associates Degree or moved on to "Main Campus" in State College. While it can still happen today, I believe most of the satelli...

Re: HeroSports Top 25

The Bison have been at the level of at the very least a better than average Big 10/12 team the last several years, as their results vs. those opponents show. Agree 100% with the MAC comment. Frankly, it would be an insult to the Bison. As has been pointed out here before, is a game with Bowling Gre...
