Re: CUSA - October Schedule

To quote the great Thomas Sowell, "there are no solutions, only tradeoffs." In order to join FBS, this is the trade-off. There was no perfect solution available. I don't like the mid-week games....at all...but it really is a small slate of games that directly impact Delaware and, on avera...

Re: 2024 Post Mortem

I had a feeling that the Hens would find a transfer to fill JP Ward spot. The Hens have signed Yale grad transfer Cory Capri as the new QB on attack. Capri played at John Glenn HS on Long Island before PGing at the Hill School where he had 21 points in just 5 games. He spent three years at Yale and...

Re: 2024 Post Mortem

The defense which was so organized in the first half of the season became unraveled. Clearly due to injuries. Gonna check the rosters of the Big schools for Canadians, the Big is really big in the LAX scene now.

Re: CAA Championship Game: Towson

Towson draws Syracuse who is #4 seed in the tournament. Champion Princeton is the ONLY Ivy team playing. Maryland, Penn State, Hopkins and Michigan all from the Big. Albany vs Sacred Heart for the PIG and the chance to match up against ND - good luck with that.

Re: CAA Championship Game: Towson

Ugh! Some kind of dreary day. Towson took the Hens to school, but good. It will be interesting to see if TU can do anything in the NCAAs, probably won’t have to go through a a play in game. Better luck next year for the Hens, gotta find replacements for big contributors and put some pieces together ...

CAA Championship Game: Towson

Well, looks like a rainy day in Towson. How fitting! Need to string that defense together to hold the Towson attack down. Also need to move the ball and avoid the double/triple teams that caused so many turnovers in the first game in Newark. Good luck Hens, we’ll be there to support you. And, hopefu...

Re: Fairfield: Part Deux

Head down to Towson Cluck. Should be able to find some good crabs and crab cakes. The team’s quality of play seemed to drop after the season ending injury to Joe Speers in the Stony game in Newark.

Re: Fairfield: Part Deux

I was flipping back between the Big Ten and Big East tourneys and the sad sack production of the CAA. Night and day. I was getting a headache trying to focus on the terrible camera work. Worlds apart, never mind the piss poor quality of the commentators. 😱 Michigan upsets Hopkins and Nova upsets De...

Re: Fairfield: Part Deux

Damn near had a heart attack. My plans to visit Towson are a “go”.

For a org that calls itself Lacrosse TV you might think they would provide a view of the shot clock. Commentators referred to it a few times and never gave the actual time. Tsk, tsk.

I dunno. Not Thursday. Maybe Saturday (hope there’s a game). Is it safe to go to a college campus these days?

Re: TOWSON FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

Does the HC leave if they join the A_Sun? They currently have 10 teams? Does women's lax go there too? Where does rowing & FH go, as the A_Sun has neither? The same or different conferences? Could there be 4, 5, or 6 different conferences?? I would have loved to have listened in on some of thes...

Re: CAA Tournament Field

I know, first things first and we have to win the tourney. But, if we do win, that loss yesterday likely assures the Hens get a PIG if we do win and get in the dance.
