Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

I don't get how some colleges are still planning to play FB yet the campuses are shut down. I also don't get why prestigious academic colleges like ND, Duke, Wake Forest, UNC, BC, Ga Tech, Vanderbilt & Rice are still planning on playing. :?

The blocked FG for a TD killed us in the EKU game. A 10 point swing. HENJOHN, You are correct Sir! Was that in the 1978 championship game with Komlo at QB, the 1982 championship game with Scully at QG, or both?Whichever, I remenber on the third down close to the endzone fairly early in the game tha...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

BHB ...If you want to talk about long term effects on college football players, what about concussions?..Concussions make up 7.4% of all injuries in college football players. All concussions are serious and affect a student-athlete's behavior, thinking or physical functioning. Research shows that a...

Re: Mens Basketball recruiting 21'

Don’t know why I’m responding but Bill...come on, other offers will be made. There is also an incoming freshman who plays point as well. Are other offers made only after it becomes apparent that the prospects offered at posiiton(s) of need won't be coming to UD? Are you referring to Arletti? If so,...

Re: Mens Basketball recruiting 21'

Which of those offered Guards would be considered combo guards that could play the PG (1) and the SG (2)? Why 2 SG's offered, but onIy 1 PG? If Stinson is the only prospect who could play PG (and maybe the only PG who would be on the team after Allen & Anderson are gone?), shouldn't UD offer 1 or 2 ...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

True, BHB, but like it says, most people who develop the condition continue to be fully functioning, including exercising. A lot of people are living with this condition now and don't even know it. And something to add to your higher risk to people with large BMI. They are saying any vaccine that i...

Re: Live Construction Footage

Essentially, the new research establishes a link between COVID-19 and myocarditis, or inflammation in the heart caused by viral infection, but a relatively weak one, Daniel Cantillon, MD, a cardiologist at Cleveland Clinic, tells Health. According to Dr. Cantillon, myocarditis sounds a lot more sev...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

@PeteThamel Just spoke to a MAC assistant coach. He said that teams have already begun to attempt to poach the top players on their roster. Such is the reality of the MAC's decision. Sadly, UD will not be immune from this kind of poaching -- with or without COVID. We have already seen it in basketb...

It’s probably going to take some time for me to wrap my head around a spring season with a playoff and national championship, follows by a “normal” fall season with another playoff and national championship. But that’s what seems to be brewing now.
Yeah, that would be tough to pull-off.
