Rate the Bigs

The season is over and I am going to ask every one of you to be honest with yourselves in this evaluation. Since we are at a stand still with sports, let's entertain ourselves. I am giving everyone 100 units to play. I want you to honestly evaluate Painter vs Goss for the 2019-20 season. Example: Yo...

Re: Josiah Freeman

Really really like this kid,

I have no issue giving him 1 of our 2 schollies. He could be a piece that helps us transitioned once Darling and Co. leave.

I could see a backcourt of him and Arletti.

Re: Will the WAC be delayed??

Andrew Cuomo just signed an executive order mandating that 100% of workforces must stay home in NY (excluding pharmacies, grocery stores, and some others.) UDPat, I'd think it may be coming before Sunday...... PA shut down all businesses last night at 8PM with Law enforcement beginning Saturday. As...

Re: Will the WAC be delayed??

I don't want it closed but I'd understand. Wilmington was a ghost town by 5pm yesterday and while I can still go into the office, most are WFH, there were 2 on my floor yesterday out of 100 or so and we have 13 floors of employees. We all want the world to go on as normal as possible but if drastic ...

Re: Will the WAC be delayed??

I have no intel but

if true: That would be a prudent sound decision.

And I'll be real: Anybody who would have an issue if the decision was to stop construction would be nothing more in the words of Howard Eskin, "An idiot, moron and a dope"!!!!

Re: Coaches

Work with a dopey older lady who was suppose to be on a cruise this week. As of last Thursday, her cruise was not cancelled and she had every intention of going. Common sense prevailed(not by her) but her cruise was cancelled. So they went to FLA where the cruise was shipping out. She's been sending...

Re: Josiah Freeman

This team was stacked at guard at few years back and there was no need for any back court help. Then a player who they thought was too good to pass up was recruited and signed. Today that player is the all time leading scorer in UD basketball history. If a player can play, you sign them if you can.

Re: What will NCAA do about scholarships?

Agree with UDPat. Now that COVID-19 is here we need to learn how to manage it first. Addressing scholarship and eligibility questions isn’t a high priority at the moment. In the end the affected student-athletes could be made whole, partially whole or become like the USA athletes that peaked for th...

Re: What will NCAA do about scholarships?

With all due respect, I don't think this be a high priority at this time. Too much else to worry about. Will the NCAA eventually have to deal with this? Yes But at this time would be foolish. It's a very unfortunate situation for these athlete's no doubt. But we are in uncharted waters at this time....
