Re: So it's the personnel?

How does it take 3 years for an experienced head coach with his track record to realize he doesn't "have the horses" and the goal is to "win"? How do you take a job at a school like Delaware with the legacy the football program has and not realize to this point that the goal is to win. I'm really s...

Re: NDSU

The goal of the Delaware football program going forward should be to be better then them.and beat them. Nothing else should be acceptable. We have the resources and support to do it, just not the coach. ...or the administration Spot on. The problem is the coach but is also a more fundamental issue ...

Re: DR Defense

Your certainly welcome to your own opinions and expectations, but not your own facts and 7-4 in no rational world is losing. Indeed you are correct, it is not losing. However in the case of Rocco it was "under-performing" given the talent he had and the glaring holes he failed to plug in his first ...

Re: It’s time

Harker’s vision realized. Very true. I realized that sitting in the stands during the Penn game. The wounds to the program were self-inflicted by the UD. Could the program be re-vitalized? Hard to say. Times and the football landscape of D1AA have changed. Even the days of success that KC experienc...

Re: Coaching

Pathetic ending to a pathetic season. Not to mention the 3rd Nova season ending smoking in 3 years. I don't know what to say about coaching. My opinion certainly doesn't move the needle. I thought that Rocco had saved his job last weekend but felt that another Nova beat down could still force a firi...

Re: Pregame Thread: Villanova

A change in today's plans. Ride to Gulph Mills. P and W to Nova. Two nice big double IPA's and a quick lunch at Flip Bailey's and a short hike to the game. Go Hens!

Show them film on the Nova sidelines the last time we played there. That was total humiliation.
Yep. For those of us "older people" on this board the "dislike" for Villanova is palpable. It would be nice to kick their azzez. This is not a meaningless game period.

Agree with BillK. That's 5-6 tops.

A fitting tenth year in the lost decade of Delaware football.
A fitting description of the program at this point. This is a post that I can't get out of my head because it is a right on the money description of what we have been seeing.

Re: 2020 schedule

Maybe they need extra time to get their xit together with the Stadium construction? No home game until Sept 19. What are the odds they will still not be ready? The odds are high. Remember the statement that we would be amazed at the progress on the facility once the season began from game to game. ...

Re: 2020 schedule

JMU is JMU and they have re-loaded regularly and we are playing on the road. Maine has been on a bit of a coaching merry-go-round. Went deep in the playoffs last year, had a coaching change and look like they will go 6-6 (maybe 5-7). LIU should be a win. NC State- a very likely "L". Elon- they clean...

Re: Nova

If Paoletti isn't good enough now to perform better in his future than PK, then we're blistered again by DR's qb choices in recruiting. Maybe Pribula is better? I don't know since nobody discusses these qbs with comments based on viewing them in practices. At least find out if Papletti has it this ...
