Re: couldn't resist

For what it's worth, Duke announced there will be no fans in attendance for their basketball games. Actually, no winter sports at Duke will have fans in attendance, and games played on campus will only include essential management personnel and broadcast media. If there ever was a year to play at Du...

Re: CAA fall football cancelled

This is more of a retorical question, but how does the SEC agree to a conference only schedule today in this COVID enviroment while also saying they are doing what is best for the students and athletes? We all know this is purly a money decision and has nothing to do with safety!

Re: CAA fall football cancelled

Clearly the right decision was made. Yes, it's painful for many UD loyal fans and supporters, but this decision to cancel the fall season had to be done. UD sports will be back, and I can't wait. Expecting the winter sports to be cancelled in a couple of months.

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

I have a better chance of wining the lottery than UD Football taking place this year! It's not going to happen, it's as simple as that!

Re: FCS Draft Prospects

If I’m not mistaken, this is the first time in quite a while that the Hens didn’t have a player drafted or sign on as an UDFA.

Re: Adams Retires

He represented Blue Hen Nation with so much class and respect! Best of luck Pops in the next stage of your career. Would love for him to somehow be involved in coaching, expecially right here in Newark.

Re: Live Construction Footage

Construction crew could not have asked for a better winter season this year. Zero snowfall and above average temps. No excuse for the work not to be completed on time.

Re: Transfer QB possibility?

79- Didn't know I was being monitored at the practices but I doubt very much if I would be brazen enough to tell John, JD , Mark, Bill , JoeC or anyone else what to think. Not even Bing would listen to me. Glad I caught your preposterous lie. I used real names Carl as these people know me and speak...

Re: Live Construction Footage

Love it when 60 and 70 year old men fight on the internet discussing and replying to useless comments! Aren't these the same people that complain that the youth in this country spend too much time online and on social media? I say let this thread continue so we can all read for ourselves how far the...

They're still walking the new sections, checking that all is right. I hope UD gave some tix to the construction workers as appreciation for all their work.
I heard Balti is personally giving them the red carpet treatment tonight for making sure the game is being played in Newark! :D

Apples and oranges. You are spinning what I said. No. they did not move solely based on either, but when you hear it from enough sources, you take notice. I believe they were hearing concerns from a wide range of sources. If they weren't hearing anything, why the message from Brian DiSabatino on Go...

Re: Live Construction Footage

I remember some posters worrying the game might be moved if better progress wasn't made none that I saw that said it would for sure. That would have been a PR nightmare. Good for all of us that we will be 'ready' to go Yes, but will the spicy mustard be readily available or will there be long walks...

Re: Live Construction Footage

Be it the NFL or MLB or NCAA, the trend is towards smaller stadiums with more comfort and amenities. The future is selling tickets to X'ers and Millennial's who are demanding both to leave the comfort of their family rooms and 70" 4k TV's. The beer gardens were just the start of those changes comin...

Re: Live Construction Footage

I too was very surprised to hear about the loss of 3.7k seats. Doesn't even seem possible given the footprint of the stadium is relatively unchanged. I'm almost certain when plans were originally announced, they said seating capacity might go down to 21k...very odd. So if they ever do the East stan...
