Re: News Journal Article Today 03/20/24
This thread got good! I'm with Baltimore Hen. I prefer to watch the best athletes in terms of strength and speed. In football, basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf, etc, those are all obviously men's leagues. Women aren't close. Women are certainly comparable in certain skill sports like figure...

Re: Syracuse 3/16
The offense definitely looked lost in the 2nd half. Syracuse just closed the door on them and most efforts were individual. The team needs to move the ball around more crisply and find openings for shooting. I think Ty Kurtz is missed. His laser shots helped to bring the defenses out and open things...

Re: Syracuse 3/16
LI Lax, Thanks for the always great scouting report. About thoseUD 1985 & 1986 squads, correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the number of teams in the Men's Div I Lax Championship back then significantly smaller? Of course there were also a significantly smaller number of Men's Lax Div I program...

Re: UMass to the MAC
UD is more than ready to compete with peers in regard to NIL. These initiatives are under way and the goal is to max out what UD can do for its student athletes and to be as efficient as possible. If you have a business or want to get involved, please PM me and well get you in contact with the righ...

Re: Monmouth 2024
Good news, Cam was back today and had a nice game. Bad news, Logan Premtaj and Jason Kolar were not dressed. Good news, OJ Morris had the game of his life. Bad news, the Hens turned the ball over a ton. Good news, they won despite 17 turnovers. And extremely good news, Brendan Powers and John McCur...

So, I guess no more silly signs and histrionics from the sideline. Two minute warning? You gotta be kidding us.

Re: Michigan 3/2
The ground balls, clearing efforts and face offs really worked to keep the Hens down. Thankfully, turnovers were high for UM as well as UD. The high line UM put at midfield to challenge the Hens’ clearing efforts was pretty effective. The Hens seemed to be surprised by it and not sure how to counter...

Re: Michigan 3/2
The Hens were stressed to try and challenge the Wolverines and any chance they had disappeared with the really slow start to the 2nd half. Gave up a couple of really easy goals there, like they weren’t ready to play after coming out. I have some questions on strategy /tactics for LILax too. What mis...

Re: UMass to the MAC
IMO, it’s unfathomable that UMass could be joining the MAC now and that UD never knew there was a good probability of that happening - there was (is) no blindsiding . These are two separate issues that did not happen separately in a vacuum. Is it possible that UD joining CUSA was a trigger for WKU o...

Re: UMass to the MAC
Does the MAC have any history of transitioning in a program from FCS? Marshall, UCF, and I believe Buffalo. Marshall had history in the league in the 50's and 60's. UCF was a football-only add. I asked because that is a clear difference between taking in UMass vs UD. Maybe they consider UMass BBall...

Re: Spring Game Info - April 19
I dunno, from the Hens to other things Delaware I conclude that hiding is the Delaware Way of doing things.
