Re: William & Mary II
Why would you want or need a roster of 19? This isn’t freshmen high school basketball. I am not saying that UD should have a roster of 19 players. What I am saying is that I am tired of UD being short-handed almost every season due to injuries (including players who are injured & can't/don't pl...

Pat Purcell
Anyone remember UD Men's Basketball Guard Pat Purcell who lettered in 1979 & 1981? I recently saw his obituary. He was only in his early sixties. Donations are requested to an educational fund for two daughters.

Re: women now
How can the UD Women's basketball team be only 3-6 at Home and 1-3 on Neutral courts, but 4-5 Away?

Re: William & Mary II
Will any of these guys be able to be real contributors in the future? Houston Emory? Kobe Jerome? Wes Peterson? Any current player could possibly not be at UD next season, but who if anyone has no remaining eligibility and who else is likely to be gone? Will Ingelsby sign any other (beside Macon Emo...

Re: What’s old is new again - hybrid Wing-T at Navy
Wing T is UD No kidding but capitalgazette.com and pennlive.com are not UD related sites like WNJ, Newark Post, etc. that many UD fans here and otherwise may subscribe to. How many UD fans subscribe to capitalgazette.com, pennlive.com, and other non-UD related sites that rarely have any UD news? No...

Re: Stadium Expansion & New Football Facility
We did not realize how poor the seating was in Delaware Stadium until the west stands were redone. Chairbacks, cup holders, wider aisles, padded seats in the Club section, etc. Even the bench seating on the end sections is roomier and better than before. It will continue to be difficult to sell sea...

Re: What’s old is new again - hybrid Wing-T at Navy
So, the triple option that Navy has been running for years will have a new look next year. https://www.capitalgazette.com/2024/01/12/new-navy-football-offensive-coordinator-drew-cronic-bringing-hybrid-wing-t-to-program/ What is described sounds very similar to the offense Tubby and Ted were running...

Re: News on Conference Membership?
Any news or rumors on a conference for the lacrosse team? Should we expect anything or it will it necessarily come after the season? I imagine the team could continue with the CAA but I hope not - it’s too sporadic weak and has never gotten much respect at playoff selection time. Maybe the Hens can...
Re: Princeton
Some data to chew on before next week's battle with the Tigers. They are 11 -1 with the only loss to St. Joe's. Their last 2 victories were against powerhouses, Delaware Valley and Bryn Athyn. (No more complaints about Goldey Beacom). Their starting 5 are: Pierce, 6' 7", 14.5 ppg Martin, 6' 7&...

Re: I’m awake - UD to CUSA
I never said there wouldn’t be a loss of seats in the east grandstands. What I said was it won’t be nearly as much as what was lost on the west grandstand and no in a group of five school. I don’t think that really will matter one bit It just occurred to me that the North End Zone project as depict...

Re: I’m awake - UD to CUSA
Fine. October nights are warmer than November (MAC). If there are four of them, two are home, two are away. That will keep four Saturdays available for other activities (kids, grandkids sports, HS games, etc). The away games will be a much better broadcast quality, and the home ESPN games may well ...
