Yep. KT does a nice job and if anything is too kind. It could basically be the same article he wrote last year.Udforever1 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2024 11:00 am Nice article by KT. “Must get better” is the understatement of the year.

Re: UMass to the MAC
then the new Delaware Stadium north end zone money should be there without donations, yes? I have heard that we only have enough money right now to pursue NIL effectively OR pursue the stadium upgrades. We do not have enough money to do both right now. It will be interesting to see which way we go....

Re: CAA Tournament, Quarterfinal: Hofstra
On the contrary, I would argue it’s easy and lazy to say over and over and over and over that if you keep your opponent from scoring you’ll win a lot of games. And if you really think a “Colin Goss” type player would have fixed our issues in the post, you know even less about basketball than I thou...

Re: UMass to the MAC
Once again, The Hens jumped ship too late? it appears so. NIL money is needed to compete. Dont know if enough $ is there. I would agree with this. Its going to be tough. For sure the Hens jumped too late, way too late. But at least they finally did it. But the Hens were never going to compete again...

Re: CAA Tournament, Quarterfinal: Hofstra
Guess we had an overall record improvement this year, but not much changed from last year in my opinion. Listening to MI during the post game show last year, I really thought it was a wake up call and this year would be much better. I was fooled. Will be another interesting off season. It should be...

Re: CAA Tournament, Second Round: Hampton
Obviously a good win. The real work starts tonight against Hofstra. Hope the Hens cause and catch them on a bad shooting night.

Re: Stony Brook II
The holes on this team are obvious and they need to be filled better than they were this year which was not very well. The team has so many players with notable and multiple holes that spanned poor shooting, ball handling and defense. Being small and not shooting well is a bad combination. It’s how ...

Re: Stony Brook II
The team regressed for sure. But other teams caught on the Hens can’t shoot overall, stick with Reilly and he is basically useless, and clog the lane. They are a pretty easy team to defend if the other team has at least average talent. A three way tie for 6th. Phew! It is what it is and what it was ...

Re: UMass to the MAC
No what matter happens to CUSA and FBS, it will be way, way, way, better than the CAA and FCS. That is and will be the bottom line in a continually changing college football environment. But at the same time, it is okay and quite natural to kinda go WTF happened? With no UMass and WKU and even MTSU ...

Re: Northeastern
Anyway, the current state of UD basketball isn’t very appealing to many. My son, grand daughter and I were part of the “crowd” of 1798 on Senior Night. What a shame. This can’t go on much longer.

Re: Northeastern
The bigger stat, at least to me is the Hens are 0-5 against the top 4 teams and 1-6 against teams above them in the CAA standings. They can’t beat good teams no matter the score. And one of the reasons is the Hens have a tougher time scoring against good teams and have a tougher time stopping them. ...

Re: Northeastern
Got the W against a physical, athletic team that can’t shoot worth a lick. The Hens figured out the zone enough in the last 8 minutes or so and played tough D to gut it out.

Re: UMass to the MAC
UD moving to FBS and CUSA is still great news. It simply had to happen. But there is no way to spin UMass going to the MAC and potentially WKU as well as anything other than not good news. Hopefully it is still full steam ahead for UD, especially the NEZ upgrade. But CUSA is already less than what i...

Re: Home and Home Set with UCONN
Hard to blame Ziady for everything that went sideways during the Harker years. Historically, the ADs at UD have not had as much influence DIRECTING athletics as you'd typically see at a BCS school. They were largely ADMINISTRATORS of the AD, with the Student Life and Athletics Committee actually pr...
