Re: Charleston
In the age of NIL and NCAA programs raking in donor money, I'm surprised that the football stadium and basketball arena don't have a corporate sponsor. Companies like DuPont, WL Gore, and numerous banks could easily invest in the university and secure naming rights. I'm unsure why this hasn't occur...

Re: Charleston
Don’t have much to say about our team. What I will say is that it was an absolute treat to watch Charleston tonight. What a well coached, well oiled machine. I think we need fresh ideas …but hey what do I know. I wonder how much NIL money Charleston is giving out. I mean they put out big money to k...

Re: CFP Approves 5+7 Playoff Format
The idea of a college football playoff system came to be because historically the national championship was subjective; simply the opinion of a group of voters. A playoff system was meant to make the determination of the national champion objective; determined on the field. If you are going to inclu...

Re: 2024 Schedule
Reminder - The 8 CAA games we’ve agreed to only play 63 scholarship players. The fewest we’ve played since at least 2012, and probably even further back than that. And who will monitor 63 scholarship player limit from week to week? There's the verbal agreement and then the actual practice. What can...

Re: Delle Donne
The donor for the basketball/volleyball practice gyms / BOB annex has never been revealed. After that Ernie Della Donne constructed the first building on the Star campus. Just sayin’Roger_Podacter wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:17 pm EDD may not have directly donated, but I would probably guess her Father did at some point.

Re: women now
Saw in the box score that the Hens had a 10 point lead on Drexel yesterday with 8 minutes left. They then scored two points the rest of the game and lost 61-59. It was ugly to watch. Sad considering how well they played, and especially how well they responded each time Drexel made a run at them bef...

Re: Delle Donne
Provocative question since UD has NO retired numbers. Gannon, Flacco, Pegues, Booker, Brunner, DellaDonne, etc., etc.
I’m not saying #11 should or shouldn’t be hanging from the rafters in the BOB, but it is does call for a deeper conversation.

Re: Home and Home Set with UCONN
After looking at the C-USA format for 2024, in 2025 we likely have an open date October 4, that will set us up for 4 consecutive weeks of mid-week games, followed by 4 Saturday games in November; the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th.

Re: Elon
Elon played better than their record against us and proved last night that coming together at the right time. They could be a dangerous draw in DC.

Re: Home and Home Set with UCONN
CR brings in OOC opponents and to my memory in the OOC schedules she has approved, exactly ZERO have been from NC. The conference she inherited and has managed to get of out of sets that portion of our schedule. Facts are such an impediment to the hate some of you keep spewing.
