Glad UD removed all doubt!

Penn State v Iowa 0-0 going into the 4th. PSU outplaying them through 3.

St. Joe's won the A-10, Uconn won the Big East. Field mostly playing out as expected.

I'd have to think it's extremely unlikely but we'll find out at 10pm tonight.

Based on your comment, I'm guessing we would host only if we have to plan on Wednesday.

UD plays at #3 Virginia. If they win, they play the winner of Maryland/St. Joe’s. When you are at this stage, no easy games. I’m sure UVA is not thrilled to draw UD.

It appears UD got seeded lower than the RPI would suggest, as essentially the Hens are slotted 14th out of 18 in the field. That suggests they did need to win the CAA after all...

Our teams have a history of winning vs. the Cavaliers. Doesn't mean anything for this, but why not us?

Rolf is simply the best coach on the UD athletic staff and a great guy. He certainly deserves an extended contract and a sizeable raise.

Congrats to the Lady Hens :D . They are a true bright spot in our dismal fall :( athletic teams.

TRASH THE TAR HEELS

I think that though they do try their best to seed the field that geography/travel does come into play.

UConn's regional is essentially the northeast, the Uva regional is filled with teams that are within easy driving range of Charlottsville and the Louisville bracket is mostly the midwest.

1-1 at half - UVA dominating, but UD GK is playing well!

3 of the top 4 seeds are tied at the half. Only UNC, up 3-0 on Stanford, can feel safe.

Edit: Louisville goal got overturned, which I missed, so now 2 tied and 1 losing.

Still 1-1 after a pretty even 3rd quarter. UVA known for its defense, UD known for offense... which wins it?

Fairfield just went up 1-0 on UConn in the 3rd... so the 2 and 4 seeds are losing and 3 is tied...

UVA goes up 3-1 with just 3 minutes left- that should seal it.
