Well, Henzone, you kind of nailed the Kevin Reihner hire. Looks like a good young coach with playing experience at Stanford and Penn St and coaching background at Fordham and Wake. Our staff has gotten a little older with the last few moves so it's good to see it balanced out by a younger hire. The second hire, Gregory Meyer, as an offensive assistant is news. Not sure of his role yet.

Still waiting for the Hens to update the bio on Alex Wood as QB coach.

His title (Meyer) doesn't really matter I don't think. He replaced the Offensive Quality Control Coach so he will still probably do everything everybody else doesn't want to do on that side of the ball.

Reihner is young all right, he was Troy's teammate at PSU

Meyer’s was Player Development at U of Buffalo. That spot has been vacant since Dave Baylor left our staff.

Before last season. He remained in touch with the program though.

Also Football Scoop reports that former Hen and Rutgers defensive backs coach is being hired by North Carolina as their DB coach.

Baker is a real good guy. Glad to see him headed to an ACC program.

Guess that may answer the Meyer question. Allen's twitter account has been down the last day or so and this morning up pops the UConn logo .
