the site is bustling with major activity right now!!!   :(

no worries- we can always count on the press box being ready for next season. BTW- how much extra did it cost to build and make functioning the press boxes on the East stands?? At least there was no issue with limited seating!!

LOL, before Saturday's game, the announcer pointed out it was the last home game of the year and, FINGERS CROSSED, their last time announcing from the East Stands. (caps added for emphasis).

The outside walls are starting to go up on the North side.

Lots of activity going on today. Did they change the contractor?

Tune in at 7:30 and watch the workmen filing in. Looks like 40 plus workers each day, Electric, plumbing, HVAC, and a crew laying interior block walls. On the out side there is a crew installing the silver studs and another crew installing the blue board, It won't be long, weather permitting, that they will start the dryvat. The heavy equipment operators are burying concrete drain pipe and sewer covers.

Not as exciting as watching the seat install but a ton of work in being done. Looks like they have done all that they can right now in the press box. They spent a lot of time there a few weeks ago with electric and plumbing.

Ron I check the site in the afternoon and I am surprised at how slowly the blue board is going up. Late last week I watched them lift a sheet in place and then take it down at least 5 times. The next afternoon they only had two more sheets up in that area.
Wish we had a camera closer to the action.
Happy Holidays

They are not obeying the #1 rule when working on those lifts. "Measure twice and cut once". It does get frustrating but the job foreman will not except sloppy work. If it not right it won't be accepted.

Sometimes, and I am not making an excuse, the wind causes them to hurry their measuring. You can't tell from these long distant cameras but those lifts tend to bounce with every movement.

There is a lot of the blue board completed on the weight room (north) side.

But as HenJohn says "it will be beautiful when it is done". It will also be done right.

Not to shake too many branches here, but anyone else think it's odd that they aren't even close to getting the building buttoned up yet, here in mid January? I don't know how fancy the interior of the building is going to be, but if it's going to be a showcase you would think it's going to be pretty nice. If that's the case, they seem to have quite a bit of work ahead of them. Kinda glad they punted on the start of the football season and padded in a lot of time for it to run over.

Man, that is one sad sack project. I can only assume they have big cash flow issues but slow movement will increase their costs as capital investment and prices are going to pick up this year.

The $60M is in the bank, so that's not the problem. Still safe to bet that all will be completed by August.

The original completion date was said to be Summer 2020.

It would be a real plus to have it ready for the pre season and for the team take full advantage when they report in August.
