Great to know that everything is on schedule. But, I am still nervous that corona virus will cause construction to stop. MA just banned all gatherings of 25+ people. They shut down all restaurants as well. I’m sure many states will follow.

I’m pretty sure it’s stopped now - UD campus has been declared a ghost town with two more CV cases.

And plenty of them Pat. This is literally the only thing going on at UD now.

Having lived in Newark all my life, this is indeed very strange to have the campus dead at this time of year!

Even Kate's has run out of Corona and they have closed the monorail to Hockessin. The workers haven't stopped though and I find it interesting that anyone can comment about a town he probably hasn't been to in months.

I understand Starboard had plenty of Corona.

Looks like the state will soon be shut down for at least 2 weeks so the construction & everything else but food stores & medical will be closed. Get ready for an announcement from the Governor possibly as early as today.

Dewey was actually hopping this weekend. When I passed by Starboard around dinner time on Saturday, the line was out the door and almost down to New Orleans St. Ocean City was a madhouse on Saturday night. St Patty's pub crawlers out in force. It was a bit of an obstacle course of drunken green-clad pedestrians in the low street numbers.

As someone there very year it was NOT as good as it usually is. Trust me. Sunday mornings are even usually fun and it was slow.

It was busy as hell. Just letting people know the truth. I'm not even sure it was very smart to have the businesses open, but open they were and activity was high.

Have a few buddies that went down to Dewey this weekend. Said it was dead compared to most years.

I'm not saying it wasn't down a little, but it was not dead at all. Again, the line to get in Starboard was halfway down the block and OC was hopping like crazy. I was there, so I know. I don't need to rely on others for a report.

Guess its all relative to what you are used to seeing. I am guessing the night time was hopping even more. More important things to argue about.
