I have to echo many of the names already mentioned, but, in particular, Johnny Bush, Bruce Fad, Dale Fry, Dennis Hulme, Anthony Braxton, Michael Johnson, Kervin Michaud, Roger Mason, Tom Parks, Erik Johnson, Jeff Cannon, John Levelis

Others I didn’t see named, or may have missed:
Jim Colbert, QB & WR
Antawn Jenkins, FB (What’s a FB?!)
Robbie Agnone, TE (stats would have been much better of he wasn’t forced to play a few games at QB - same deal as Aaron Love)
Sam Neff, QB
Keita Malloy, WR, PR
Chris Mooney, DL
Patrick Callaway, LB
Charles Scarff, TE
Brian McKenna, LB
“Disco” Lou Mariani, RB, PR, KR
Jay Hooks, WR

There are two in particular who, to me, are underrated, not because they weren’t’t great players, but because I just don’t think they get the overall recognition due them - James Anderson at WR - in my opinion, the second best (after Eddie Conti - and that’s not a knock on Jamin Elliott or Michael Johnson); and Andrew Pierce - not typically spoken of in the same breath as Hall, Cuff, Brown, Kahoe, Beasley, Roberts, Armstrong, - but Amazing production and durability.

Glenn Covin, RB, played required FR FB in 1970, had a sensational year in 1971, and suffered a career ending knee injury early in the 1972 season. Tubby said he was probably the best HB in his tenure at UD.

He would have been one of the best ever Bill if he didn't get hurt vs Lehigh in Game 1 of the 1972 season

Dale Koscielski was also an underrated player. He was a beast and was the hardest hitting safety I played with. In 1996, his hit on that Navy FB on the sidelines was a thing of beauty. Dude left the game with back spasms.

Ralph, good one. That Wilkes-Barre Pa native really layed some guys out. I actually overlooked him in my list. Nice pick

Trent Hurley is a good one for underrated QB in the 2010s. After his time at UD ended, there was some really bad QB play for most of the rest of the 2010s. Dead last in FCS in passing yards per game one year, and near last another year, in an era that favors the passing game. We didn't know how good we had it with Trent.

Absolutely. We lost him and Conti at the start of the '97 season. If we had them, maybe it would've been a different ending than we had.

Most people won't remember fred andrew but he was a solid 4 year player that I had an accounting class with. Also had a highlight reel hit on a navy receiver in the 2007 win

In all my years there were only two players UD fans famously yelled their names. One was certainly not under-rated in Eddie Conti but the one I’m thinking of was LB Mondoe Davis!!

Was WR Pete Raventine (sic) as good as Kelly made him sound over the radio?

He had great hands C and ran good routes. He was Komlo's go to guy for much of his time here.

Peter Rav patiently waited his turn and excelled as one of Komlo's key targets his senior year and 5th year. Tom Ciccone another North Jersey guy who didn't get his chance until his 5th year as the starting FB in the wing T.

You know, the Mulhern linebacker family doesn't get much mention but they were some solid players. How many were there, 3 or 4? (Dan, Pat, John and ....?)

I thought just the three you mentioned. I thought Pat was the best of the bunch, but all were solid Blue Hens.
