More Trivia

Here are a few TRIVIA questions to help try and dust off the cobwebs a little:

1) The Bluehens defeated Montana in Missoula in 1993 49-48 in a great Playoff game. One of our opponents on that team ended up winning a CFL MVP Trophy later on and now is a successful CFL Coach. Who is he?

2) Name one QB from Newark HS that has played for the Bluehens starting from 1970.

3) What former Christiana HS QB was a starter for the Bluehens?

4) The 2000 UD team was very successful making it to the Semifinals before falling in a tough game to Ga Southern. QB Matt Nagy, now HC of the Chicago Bears, had a great year and received many accolades. Who was the Center who snapped most of the plays for Matt and helped protect him so well that season?

5) Name 2 sets of brothers that not only played for the Bluehens but also played at the same time with each other?

6) The 1972 UD team was one of the greatest ever and won the 1972 Boardwalk Bowl. The CW Post QB was drafted by the NFL but had much more success in another Sports field. What was it?

7) The Boardwalk Bowls had a unique ENDZONE situation in the building that used to host the Miss America pageant when they played there. What was the oddity?

#8) Randy Moss caught 8 passes for 288 yds and 3 TDs vs UD in 1996 Playoff game. What future NFL QB was throwing to him?

#5 Two of my favorite players... Pat and Paul Williams.

#8 Wasn't Eric Kesser the QB? Pennington started as freshman but redshirted in 1996 because Kesser transferred from Florida due to Spurrier starting Danny Wuerffel. They also had that stud transfer RB from WVU.

I never knew he made it to the NFL. I didn't play that game because I tore my ACL the first game of the season, URI that year was my swan song.

Nobody took a shot at the endzones in Boardwalk Hall. I'll say they were only eight yards long.
