Todd McShay the ESPN Draft guru has Lance going in top 10. He's on everyone's radar.
Lance is the consensus #2 QB in the draft ... it's really a no brainer decision for the young man.

Most have him Third behind Trevor Lawtence of Clemson and Justin Fields of Ohio State but still very high pick coming for him.

That would still get Lance Top 10 potentially, since Lawrence is consensus #1 & Fields will go shortly thereafter.

Yes Bill. One or two mocks have him going in top 10 as I indicated earlier.

He has all the tools, no doubt but might just be a little more of a project given his college experience.

and it's also nice to see NDSU go through a little adversity :D

Evidently they didn't play great in their win Saturday

They didn’t have much of a home crowd advantage as attendance was 741. Still not bad considering ND is the nations COVID hotspot by a lot. It was basically a 60 minute scrimmage where they kept score.

Univ of Houston finally gets to play tonight after having their first FOUR games postponed or cancelled. They play Tulane. The Hurricane in the SE is affecting alot of scheduled contests. LSU's game was moved to Missouri and some others have had time changes so far.

Nick Saban & Alabama AD tested positive. Is Saban important enough to receive Regeneron? Like the POTUS?

Therapeutics are getting pretty good, we're far ahead of where we were 6 months ago in that arena. I'm sure it would be contentious in Alabama - half the state would want to pull out all the measures to make sure Saban recovers and the other half of the state would want to pull the plug.

Big10 starts games this weekend as the county the University of Michigan is in just issued a 2 week stay-at-home order for UM students to slow a big spike in cases. I don’t even think you can call these stumbles anymore. The BIg10 has some pretty strict COVID rules. They would have resulted in many cancelled games in other conferences if they had the same rules. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out as the virus is really spiking in many areas including Big10 country.

Currently no Michigan players are being held out because of COVID protocols. Why would this game be canceled in other conferences? I don't think community spread has ever been a criteria for games being played or not, it's always been among the participants. Michigan athletics had a 0.7% positivity rate last week, and apparently none in the football program. Why shouldn't they play?

Never said it should. Why would you ask that question? But thanks for pulling out your phone and reporting some stats. That’s what folks do when they don’t follow things very closely.

And a two week stay at home order is a BFD no matter if it plays into game day decisions. Maybe it should? And so is the field hospital being use in WI as they ramp up for their first game.

Why would you bring up the game then in the context of the COVID spike in Michigan? Like I said, they're following the rules and protocols, the football team, and the athletic department as a whole, appear to be pretty safe with their test results, and the science is winning out in terms of how to address spread of the virus when the rules and protocols are followed. Why are you concerned that I used stats in my post - should we not use the science at hand? I like data. That these football games can happen should be a celebration of people doing what they should be doing.

Everything else aside, I'm happy for everyone involved in the Big 10 who have football back this weekend. Not sure how many fans will be able to attend but at least they get to see their teams play!

I'm going to check out parts of the Penn St. and Michigan games Saturday.

Just thought it was interesting that UM went from having students in class to on line and then telling them to stay in their dorms all because of COVID while having other students play a football game. Nothing more. Nothing less.
