Since UD Athletics will be airing the UD @ W&M game from 2007 I thought some of you might enjoy my photo gallery from that game.

This was my first season as UD's sports photog, and one of the first games I shot so I was pretty green at the whole sports photography thing.

That was the first CAA game. Too much Omar Cuff that night in Williamsburg. Great pictures. Thanks.

And I have his autographed helmet along with premium tix and met him on field during the W&M game a few years ago, all for a song and a dance when no one else participated in the online UD silent auction. That was special.

77, I actually won a silent auction in 2006 to run out on the field with the team along with another person and spend the game on the sidelines. It was Flaccos first game but Cuff was very nice to us before the game. Kevin Tresolini even did a small piece on us in the Sunday coverage. What thrill it was.

Wow, that was a good one. The entire game on the sidelines? Who did you hang with? KC? or YouDee? Maybe you should have gone out with the defense to help them that year. I proudly keep Omar's helmet on my mantle.

77, My buddy and I have Season tickets on the 45 yd line so we just hung down there for a bit. Mike Byrne ran into me at one point and I said time to head up into the stands. Jerry Oravitz let us on the field before the game as well which was fun and we had a chance to show off a bit. My buddy was a punter in HS and college and had boomed a couple messing around and I was catching them and running. Omar Cuff kept laughing and talking us up to the coaches. We were both 51 at the time.

We ran out of the tunnel right behind the team. Joe Flacco was one of the last guys running out and we asked him if he was nervous and he said "no how about you guys?". I asked him for any advice running out of the tunnel and he replied "Yeah John, don't trip over the Goaline!!". Great memories. We beat West Chester too.

I also won a silent auction. My prize was to work with the chain crew. We did not keep the official chains but we kept a second set of chains right behind them. I was fun when we were near mid field as we were right in the middle of the players and coaches. However, I got a new admiration for the chain crew on long completions and punts as we had to run and spot the new line of scrimmage. We were on the field the whole day and we got to have lunch with the official chain crew.

Another time I won an auction for an official game used helmet. It was freshly re-painted. I believe it was worn by Keon Hendricks.
