OT- Finneran Center

Some of you may have seen this but Nova's refurbished ski lodge was opened to the press recently....looks pretty nice. 65 million all funded by athletic donors with 22 mil chipped in by Finneran.

Looks the same other than a new roof and paint job....

Anybody who says a college athletics program is a waste of money ought to look at that.

I don't care for Nova or their program....but facilities do interest me and I like to see other schools and how they compare to UD's so thought I would share.

Not a Nova fan in the least but, I found last year's team very enjoyable to watch. Maybe a little Donte factor had something to do with it.

Also, my niece is in 3rd year @ Nova Law School with a job already waiting for her upon graduation.

And before any one asks why she went there instead of Widener/Del Law School, 3 very good reasons

1) She did undergrad @ Auburn, so no Delaware connection
2) VU Law school is light years better than Widener/Del Law School, it's not even a contest. Kind of like the football games over the last 10-15 years
3) The better law school gave her a much better financial package to attend.

It was a no brainer of a decision.
But I do own a Auburn hoodie and she asked about getting me a VU Law School hoodie....Told her I couldn't wear it, save your money.

I have 2 close friends...one a Nova law grad, the other a Widener law grad. Nova guy has his own practice in Wilm….Widener guy is one of the top patent lawyers in DC. Both successful.....as with most things, its what you make out of it.

Looking forward to the hoop season
