Too many second half choke jobs with Inglesby. It will get him fired eventually.

Up the entire game on the road, double digit lead in the 2nd half, then the offense just went away and Charleston couldn't miss from deep. What do we have to do to beat these guys?

Bad loss with a late collapse. And a too frequent occurrence when the guards light up the Hens. Not much of a bench as always and almost all zeros in McCoy’s box score again. Only 2-6 against the top four teams. Looking like a 1 win max in the tourney.

Just not quite tough enough when it matters most.

Watched Towson-Hofstra. Towson has that toughness needed to win this.

edit. Difficult loss, but the tournament is as wide open as I can recall. Any of 6 teams could win this, and an upset by one of the bottom four would not surprise me.

6 straight 3's. They could have shot with their eyes closed.

Hens have to play better defense than what was apparent last night. When an opponent scores in the 80s, that's a problem now and will be going forward.

Ave is closer to 12 a game, 2nd leading scorer for CofC. Think you are referring to Jasper.

Tough loss. No doubt. I have said this with a few posters that this could be a year in the CAA where the 4 beats the 1 or a 6/7 slips into the semis. This may be a year where the tourny doesn't go as predicted and maybe we are the guys to take advantage.

You beat me to my edit above. This feels like a wide open tournament.

Ironically, I think improved defense was a major factor in our recent late season surge. We need to get back to that level. We need total "buy-in" on the defensive end of the court to have any chance at all of a championship title.

I love the defense that Johnny McCoy plays coming off the bench. Disrupts the offensive flow, contests 3 point shots. I think he needs to become more of a factor in the game plan. I would have liked to see him in the game when we had that 10 point lead down the stretch to get in the face of those shooters.

We need to get Painter to play at a higher level defensively. Again, I don't think he saw much action, if at all, down the stretch of this game...coach's decision. We MUST get a strong inside presence if we have any hope of knocking off teams like W&M, Hofstra, and Towson in the tournament. These teams are tough inside.

I like that Charleston arena.

As an aside, they just hit another contested 3 at the end of the shot clock.

The lack of dribble penetration by our guards confuses me. With so much attention on Darling, the guards should be able to get to the basket. There is some but not nearly enough.

A common theme with the last couple losses is defending the three!

Pat and Info are right. Surprises await in DC!
