Maxime Boursiqout leaving Northeastern. Grad transfer .
Big loss for NU imo. Undersized pf....reminded me of a poor mans Pegues. Always liked his game.

Tomas Murphy leaving NU. Losing Boursiqout and Murphy is going to hurt.

Re: Transfer season
There will be a lot of players to choose from in the transfer portal. While I like Novakovich and Carrs potential, if we could add a 1 year experiences big man who can rebound and defend (and gel with current roster), hopefully MI can pull one in.
You have a generational talent in Darling playing his senior year .,..surround him with as many pieces possible.

Re: Transfer season
I get that the transfer portal is pretty much what college basketball is now, but you can refresh verbal commits every few hours and it seems 10-20 new names pop up.

Re: Transfer season
IMHO there may be significantly fewer transfers this year than last. The coronovirus restrictions prevent coaches and prospective transfers from meeting face-to-face and campus visits.
Re: Transfer season
To date the portal says you are wrong. Ever see a kid enter the portal and return to his former school?BlueHenBill wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 4:14 pmIMHO there may be significantly fewer transfers this year than last. Re: Transfer season
I imagine that last year few, if any, players returned to or were allowed to return to their pre-transfer school. Thsi year may be different. I don't know why the Transfer Portal (which i dislike) can't operate similar to declaring for the Draft and then having a window to enter the draft or return to thier school. many of the players entered the Transfer Portal this year before the cornonavirus shutdown. Given the indefinite suspension of in-person recruiitng and campus visits, I could see both players & caoches being more amenable to resuming thier relationship at the pre-transfer school.jd of de wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 8:41 pmTo date the portal says you are wrong. Re: Transfer season
Bill, I check the portal just about every day. It seems 10-20 guys are being added each day, so I don’t think the virus has had much of an impact.BlueHenBill wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 6:30 pmI imagine that last year few, if any, players returned to or were allowed to return to their pre-transfer school. Re: Transfer season
Hens along with about 15 other schools have reached out to American transfer Mark Gasperini, 6'10 245 C from American. Avg 10.5 pts and 5 boards over 3 seasons. I believe he is a grad transfer. Doesn't seem to be very athletic but has good size and nice post moves.
Wake and Marquette seem to be the cream of the crop of schools reaching out.
Bill Phillips and Mark both follow each other on twitter.
