Re: Nate Darling
By no means am I saying Nate Darling is as good as Tyler Herro but their scouting reports are almost identical. They're both elite shooters and average athletes.
Herro scouting report - https://www.nbascoutinglive.com/tyler-h ... ng-report/
Darling scouting report - https://www.nbascoutinglive.com/nate-da ... ng-report/
If Darling can find himself on a team where he can rely on his catch and shoot abilities there is a spot for him.

Re: Nate Darling
I think they're 2 different players. The scouting report says so too. It said Herro was a playmaker, can rebound, can defend and said Darling cannot do those things..although they called him a decent playmaker, Herro is a much better onegonzo wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 11:39 amBy no means am I saying Nate Darling is as good as Tyler Herro but their scouting reports are almost identical. I still think Darling needed one more year to work on his game and improve his stock. I see him being an Anthony Morrow type pro with a better handle

Re: Nate Darling
SeanieWard, if your evaluation of Dalring is correct, it is a shame that he didn't stay at UD for the 2020-2021 & 2021-2022 seasons to improve his game and further his education.SeanieWard wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 11:54 pmI think they're 2 different players. Re: Nate Darling
A) there will be a flood of kids hitting the professional ranks in 2022.
B) think back to the day you no longer had to live as a broke-**** college student.
Sometimes it’s just time to take your best shot.

Re: Nate Darling
3rd ranked CAA player, behind Knight(9) and Riller(3)
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard enough!!!!
Re: Nate Darling
Jeremy Woo of SI recently ranked his top 80 players in the draft. Roller was 38 and Knight was 63.
Nate did not make the list but I hope he finds the right fit. I may even watch more NBA games if he makes it.

Re: Nate Darling
Darling is rated the 21st ranked shooting guard and 89th ranked overall playersin the latest ESPN Draft Preview.
GO BIG BLUE!
Re: Nate Darling
I have to believe that Darling himself knows He's a longshot to get drafted. If it happens...Great!!
Makes me believe He has a pretty nice deal lined up overseas which was his most realistic destination. May not make NBA money, but overseas does provide an opportunity in many instances where becoming a 9to5er isn't worth it at this time in their lives. And a very comfortable life it can be.
Best of Luck to Nate in his future endeavors!!!!

Re: Nate Darling
Hornets also drafted Riller at #56. Two top CAA guys on the same team.
