Now that's thinking young HJ!

just plug in Kingery and Crawford and hold on to Franco, get a few pitchers and I'll be fired up

Where and why would you plug in Crawford. As of last night, he's hitting a 'lusty' .209 with 0 homers. He really hasn't played much better in the minors. Kingery has shown a lot of promise. The Phillies have very good young position players; starting pitching stinks.

Don't give up on Crawford yet fog

He still pretty much college-age

The Phillies need him to step up
I've noticed JMU and Nova fans don't seem to like Rocco, this is a good thing..

Red Sox fire Farrell. Surely the Phillies can't screw this up, can they?

With Dombrowski running the Red Sox I would not be surprised to see him tab Brad Ausmus who managed for him in Detroit, for the Boston job leaving some good candidates still. Joey Cora a bench coach for the Astros is pretty well thought of along with Gary Disarcina of the Bosox. Wouldn't mind seeing Farrell come here and bring Disarcina with him.

I think the Yankee brass loved sticking it to Terry Francona as a payback for 2004.

Jorge Velandias name has come up in some local media outlets. I wonder if Juan Samuel will get consideration.

HJ, I certainly hope not. He has given many years to the organization but I thought He did a very poor job as 3rd base coach this past season. I would have been fine with the entire staff returning minus Juan Samuel.

Looks like the Phillies interviewed Giants Phil Nevin and A's Chip Hale for the Managers job.

Zeroing in on Dusty Wathan as the next Phils manager. I'm fine if He is the choice.

Wanted him from the beginning. Makes too much sense. Has come up with the young guys and they all love him. A “player’s manager” but also not afraid to get after guys and hold them accountable.

Historic HR night in the World Series last night and really all of MLB this year. Meanwhile, the Phillies stress "approach" at the plate and OBP while playing in a HR park. And oh yeah ... won't spend until 2019. Let me know when actually winning is important. Thanks Computer Boy.
