Just shuffling the chairs on the Titanic.

BTW, I seriously doubt Girardi would work with this GM. Too many analytics.

We will see if the owner has the balls to do what needs to be done, which means he isn't afraid to admit he made a mistake, and fire Klentak and Kapler after the season. Lurie did it with the Eagles when he fired Kelly after he proved to be an unmitigated disaster after two years. It should be done now. We shall see.

Can't argue one bit.

It is actually worse than it appears...I say that with the farm system in mind...Of course there are a few players Howard Bohm are 2 best...Medina Romero have dropped in. stock Suarez is nothing......A few names have surfaced but they are in A or Rookie ball...Its that bad...The good news is The Mickster is showing power lately and starting to get confident...A new name that is opening eyes is pitcher Ethan Lindow a 20 year old 5th rounder in 2017. He just got promoted to Clearwater and pitched well. He's been pitcher of month twice this year..BTW Sixto has been lights out....We traded a potential number one....OUCH...Mr C will tell you how I felt about that.....So In Essence We traded Hamils,Alfaroi and Sixto for JT......We got nothing for Hamils......JT has not provided the protection they thought...Harper still has solid numbers and plays w emotion and reckless abandon....And he is doing it seeing less strikes than anyone in all of baseball...

That makes it tough.....As far as the front office goes everyone one of you knew how I felt about computer boy from gate and you also know I made it known....Forget about the faulty assembled team, klentak is solely responsible for the Phillies embarrassing farm system that now ranks very low.....The bad 6 7 8 drafts have caught them.....I really could go on an on but why bother..So I will leaver with this Ricky Bo classic the other night...Maybe his best ever

After Kap explained why he started Rodriguez over Dickerson then pinch hit for him in third inning w Dickerson saying Dickerson doesn't hit lefties who is our hottest hitter BTW..and ends up sending him up there against a left anyway,,,

Rickey Bo says "Oh Yea, Rodriguez doesn't hit anybody"....LOLOLOLOL

That’s right Joe

You’ve been following Sixto so long you know what kind of diapers he wore :D

Got a hand it to Joe. he follows the Phillies farm system closer than the Phillies I think

Just look what a couple of studs can do for a team

Acuna and Albies types are what the Phillies need
not old men

Just watched the Klentak interview about hiring Manuel, which I think was a good move. Klentak is so full of BS about “modern baseball” and “analytics” it is nauseating. My wife, who wasn’t even really watching said, “who is that kid”? And isn’t baseball “still about a pitcher throwing a ball and a batter trying to hit it”? LOL Of course, she is a mother of pitchers and knows a little about baseball. But how many people can Klentak fool and for how long?

79 as Girardi said said on a national TV game.. "There is some good stuff on sabermetrics but I still think in
it comes down to talent and who has the better players"......Good Thought....

I still love after T Mac tells us the exit velocity in every seemingly bat ....Franco crushed a liner to third snagged by 3rd baseman "
Mac says "John that ball was 105 exit velocity". Kruk without missing a beat says. "Yeah meanwhile he is sitting in dugout"

Mr C I am sure you know Sixto has presently throw 24 consecutive shut out innings......On his way to triple A...and Miami soon enough..

Talk to me when he throws a gem against the Phillies striking out 12.......And Alfaro hits a bomb to beat Nola 1 0.....
.....

The hunt for dead red fastball in October?

Phillies right in the wild-card hunt

Mr. Harper is getting very comfortable

Maybe a turning point moment last night with Harper’s walk off slam to cap the sweep of the Cubs??? It will be tough with the shaky pitching but at least now a glimmer of hope coming off that dreadful road trip.

What a crazy game baseball is...Never saw it coming.. First I have no problem w Phillies shut down by Darvish, he was superb...He kept Phillies off balance all night even making Harper look bad...Then Harper had 2 pitches to hit and he missed them both...He didn't miss the third one....lol

In fact for all you sabermetric guys, It was the highest dual launch angle (40 degrees) and exit velocity (113 mph)
ever recorded in a major league games..

It was first homer given up by Holland to a lefty in 2 years....Harper hitting 300 w RISP....On MLB last night the superlatives being throw at Harper were over the top....Reynolds couldn't stop bragging about him...Cliff Floyd as well..Reynolds said what we said before signing him, He is a blue light player that he loves the spot light and Floyd countered with "they are hard to find"....
What a great game baseball is....Ya never know....

Once again the Phillies Typiocal recipe for defeat surfaces...Horrible starting pitching a vanishing offense with one
feeble At bat after another....This team will not and cannot sustain a run. with this below average starting pitching...

As Bo said over a month ago "we have Nola and no one else". He was spot on....

Remember the days when it was en vogue to run Carlos Santana out of town and put Hoskins back at first?

Santana: .292BA/.958OPS/30HR/79RBI/6E
Hoskins: .233BA/.845OPS/25HR/73RBI/8E

#dammit
Rocco is done, what’s even the point anymore?

One last finger nail to go hanging on or one final hammer hit on the final coffin nail. 4 1/2 out of the wild card and sitting at four games over .500 at 76-72. Heads should roll after the season and it should start with Klentak and Kapler. Will the owners do what needs to be done?
