Henweigh,
You are correct regarding brick. That is why I suggested concrete!

That limb is about to break. :D You wouldn't put brick over asphalt.
If you look at the artist renditions (both the north and the south ends) it shows asphalt in the area you are discussing.

It will get a second coat of asphalt when they are done making a mess.

It appears that there are 2 different colors on the south end of the press box. Top more tan the bottom more gray. That is not good. I hope it is an illusion but I don't think so.
the front of the press box is god awful as far as color. just turrble...

That's dodging the question - do you like the color of the pressbox as it faces the field? Maybe if they do some of it in blue like the artist rendering it might look better, but it does stand out like a sore thumb now.

Take it for what its worth but in person, the color of the finished press box looks a little different . Also, yes, the bottom of the field side will get a blue finish.

Its been over 21 months since ground breaking and it almost over the finish line. Facilities should no longer be hurting recruiting.

There is nothing like the WAC in FCS football and its probably superior to most G5 facilities as well. All sports will benefit.

When you quoted me you should have included my edit. When Big R directed me to the artist rendering I said I see it now and it looks great.

And how many FCS schools have a indoor practice facility steps away. Come to think of it, throw the G5’s into the discussion as well.

Yes JD. comparisons to schools in the AAC, Mountain West etc, would be interesting.

No question was asked so I’m not dodging anything. I’m only commenting on the complaints about every little twist and turn on this project. :D

I like the neutral colors myself. Looks really good in person.

Judging from the plastic sheeting over the press box windows the field side color is about to change.

Glad the complain crowd had their moment though.
