And welcome home to our 2003 and 1963 NC Blue Hens, our 1993 playoff team that beat Montana, our 1988 Yankee Conference co-champions, our 1973 Boardwalk Bowl team and the 1978 DII NC runner ups.

And a special shoutout to our QB in 1953, Bob Hooper, and 70 years later can still be seen weekly at the BHTC luncheon; the Hens finished 7-1 that season and received an invitation to play in the Citrus Bowl (I believe), but was turn down by the university.
Great stuff JD. Thanks for posting
Wow! Lots to celebrate!! and Doc Hooper still going strong!!
Proud to be a F*king Blue Hen :D

Bob is a great guy, and a really good man.

Yes, he spoke with emotion about Tubby and his teammates. We all got a laugh about when he was being recruited and made a visit to UD to see a Spring scrimmage. Tubby told Bob: "Bob we want you here, but we're not going to kiss you".

Thanks, Bob!

Hopefully we won’t be having a rematch with Duquesne this year…. Or even worse, they make the playoffs and Delaware got left out.

Just sharing some Halloween 🎃 scary stuff
recruiting recruiting recruiting...It ain't rocket science....We need better more athletic players...That simple....

The record would be better if we hadn't beaten these teams.
