Harvin- Last year of eligibility
Townsend- Last year of eligibility
Youngblood- Last year of eligibility
Wymberly- Last year of eligibility
Bermudez- Just got here. Can’t transfer unless he wants to sit out a year.
Lutz- Last year of eligibility
Good post here and excuse me while I change the subject. I’m not sure this worries anyone else but aren’t we staring at a lot of roster turnover again this offseason? I know with the extra Covid year it’s near impossible to figure out who has another year of eligibility, but we start a lot of seniors and grad students. Our OL is all seniors and grad students.

I get that it’s the nature of college sports now with the portal but UD football seems to be on the high end of activity. It’s like they better win this year because next year looks really murky as to who will be dressed as a Blue Hen.
UD to FBS. I never thought I’d see the day

Been meaning to post on the recruiting thread regarding this, but I actually think we’ll be able to return a decent amount of the team if they choose to come back. TJ Thomas I believe is the only one who will have exhausted their eligibility on the OL. The WR room is the only one that appears to be decimated after this year, though so far Carty hasn’t had trouble replacing talent there.

That's the challenge of recruiting today and utilization of the Transfer Portal. I look for the staff to replenish the WRs with quality.

-I’ve read the bios of each OL. It appears that only TJ Thomas has run out of eligibility. But that doesn’t mean others could either forgo their remaining eligibility or transfer out.

-If Wymberly misses the remainder of the season, he could receive a medical redshirt.

-The year listed for each player is their actual academic year and does not necessarily mean they have run out of eligibility.

We aren’t talking about Buckman, we’re talking about, according to you, a current player. Loved Buck and as I said before, I thought he had the best hands on the team. I hope he’s ok as he did not appear in the box score this past week as UConn improved to 1-5.

But your math ain’t mathing on this one when you look at the depth chart, Henzone. Hope this doesn’t hurt your feelings but it appears to be slop thrown at the board and hoping it sticks.
I don't look at the depth chart, it's not accurate remember? I have concerns that we may be going to lose a decent WR in the future . Until it happens it's about as on target as Carib's picking UNH to win over the Hens or Marker starting at QB in the opener.
Ugh, I didn’t want to go into detail, but guess I will.

Townsend- Last year of eligibility
Youngblood- Last year of eligibility
Wymberly- Last year of eligibility
Bermudez- Just got here. Can’t transfer unless he wants to sit out a year.
Lutz- Last year of eligibility

I apologize, maybe we will lose our 7th best pass catcher to the portal.

For a guy who says he has his stalkers, you sure do follow Carib around. But at least Carib doesn’t post and quickly delete, like a post I saw this morning.
Even with these potential losses, the cupboard would not be bare. We would have Bermudez, Jalyn Witcher, Ja’caree Kelly, and Isaiah Cherry back, and maybe a Wimberly medical redshirt (that’s complete speculation on my part). Plus whatever help RC can pull from recruiting and the transfer portal. In this offense, we can reload at WR.

There could also be some position changes. It is possible that a RB moves to WR to get more playing time. However, I do think Carty's offense is a plus for WR's in the portal.

For the rest of 2023 I want to see more of Lutz. He has good hands and the ability to get open.
