It's like the game is being played in a black hole somewhere.
I too noticed the lack of live stats at halftime. It's possible there is no mention of the score on CBS because it might be that they consider this simply an exhibition game. UD surprisingly  counts it as a game while GB an exhib.

Well yeah, they count it as a game just like every other D1 team in the country does

Hens hit the 100 mark and did what they should have done against a D2 opponent. 7 of the 8 guys who played were in double figures with Peterson at 9, nice to see him get some extended minutes after being injured so often these past few years.

Jerome with an outstanding game after not showing much against Bucknell. Also thought Trent had a really nice game. Lane just needs to shake off some rust and I think he’ll be ok.

21 assists tonight.

As others shared, we did what we should do to a D2 team.

Hard to take things away from this game and not blow them out of proportion. We beat Goldey 64-56 in MI’s first year which IMO shows the talent increase between then and now

Looking forward to Sunday and Air Force. A game I felt we should have won last year. With the eagles off, hoping for a good crowd

Scoring lots of points is flashy and gains much attention, but good defense is essential to winning championships. The Blue Hens look strong in that regard so far. Staying out of foul trouble will be an important component of that.

P.S. Goldey will prove to be a strong team at their level.

Sounds good. I think you will like what you see/. All the new guys have impressed but Houser and Trent have stood out the most. Trent won’t hit many outside shots but the guy has quick hands on defense and knows how to get in the lane as well as post up. For a 6’4 PG, that will be advantageous going up against smaller guards

Still obviously very early, but I do think this team has a chance to be very competitive within the CAA. I do have concerns about the lack of depth in the post, but if Davis and Houser can stay healthy, we’ll have a chance to be compete in just about every game we play.

Only 2 games but the Talent and athleticism level on this team is significantly higher and deeper than we have seen in recent years. Agree Depth in post could be the weakness. Is Moss really out for the entire season again? Has Emory Developed? The only other big on the Roster is walk on Ogunbo, can he come in a play D and give some fouls if needed?

The Baha Mar tournament will be fun also our meeting with Xavier.
