Minicucci has to run. He needs to run early, too, so the Spots' D has to respect it. You play to win the game. If you are askeert to get hurt, you quit-- like Albany did a few years ago.

They have some good individual talent, but UD has to just take care of business. If the temps are where Cluck says, maybe it's not a bad thing to have Minicucci in to get the ground game going!
I don’t want to jinx anything, but you can’t help but notice how big and physical Minicucci looks, he can take a hit and is at least viable running the ball.
He is only 6’2, 210. That’s not exactly a big quarterback.

With two quarterbacks already injured, we can not afford to lose another one.
We can’t afford to lose is right, play to win
recruiting recruiting recruiting...It ain't rocket science....We need better more athletic players...That simple....

Must win this game and open up the entire playbook. Injuries don't matter if the season is over. Not super confident in this one. If we lose at home in the playoffs to Lafyette no matter the circumstances it shows the program is in decline and this entire season was a failure. Must win and have a decent showing against Montana.

ESPN writer's insights. Interesting. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Draft Kings has us favored by 7.5, btw.

Any index report for Hens is based on performances made with other QBs. Would throw that all out the window. That's not to say Hens don't have more talent but it's not talent used to playing together.

If we get a decent performance from our quarterback or quarterbacks; we should be able to secure the victory.
Just get the ball to our playmakers.

It would also help if Carty does not make any outrageous decisions such as going for the first down on fourth and one on the Hens 14 yard line.

I do not subscribe to the New York Times but was able to read this so this article apparently is not behind the paywall.

It is a nice recap of the UD-Lafayette playoff game of 2004.

An hour ago, I walked outside and the thermometer read 27 degrees. It is sunny here in Newark. Supposed to warm to about 42 degrees.

Forecast says some wispy high clouds might roll in, but then clear out before game time. It should be a very bright, but chilly day. Might need some suntan lotion if you are in the East stands. Light wind.

Football weather.

Put some Peppermint Schnapps and whipped cream in your hot chocolate or add some extra Captain in your drink...it is going to be a glorious day to watch our Hens!

Oh, here's a recipe Mrs. Cluck liked...a chocolate red wine drink:

Ingredients:

1 bag dark chocolate chips (70% cacao)

2 cups water

½ cup cocoa powder

2 cups powdered sugar

2 cinnamon sticks

4 star anise

8 cloves

2 clementines, halved

1 bottle of red wine (your choice)

A sprinkle of rosemary

Low heat...don't boil off the ingredients.

Go Hens!
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Carty - get an FBS bowl win!
