Great coach. Glad to see he’s healthy. They said on the broadcast he led them to just their 6th winning season since 1967 last year. Now back to back seasons.

Carty & staff have a lot of work to do to begin competing with either LU or NMSU.

Stadium is packed even in the rain. Can we follow this please ! Let’s go Hens Fans time to not wimp out due to rain!
You have to remember what university this stadium is located. I am sure it was the moral obligation of the student body to attend.

We have a Christian-based university located in Phoenix: Grand Canyon University. Their basketball arena is packed to the brim with
students. Again I suspect the kids are expected to attend the games. Just my opinion.

It certainly isn’t the alcohol since it’s a dry campus for everyone including tailgates no alcohol sales at the games either. I did know someone who interned at my company from there, they didn't have to go to the games but most wanted to due to it being the thing to do.

I thought something seemed different about their student section whenever the cameras panned in on them but couldn't put my finger on it. I guess stone cold sober would explain it. To each their own!

Fun game to watch, I think Carty's offense will fit in well in CUSA, exciting times ahead!

Some good info here and helps connect the dots -- e.g. I did not realize that ALL October games would be week-nights. Ugh.

Yes most likely 2 home 2 away at least October around here is usually the best weather for games on Saturdays so that kinda sucks but it is what it is. More free time for trips to the apple orchard ….i guess…..

Fantastic video. Loved all the data presented because I’m a big numbers guy. My biggest take away is that we are going to have to start spending a lot more for football in order to be competitive in CUSA. Also, the data makes me wonder why we are not cutting some non-revenue generating sports to allocate that money to FB and Bball. I know it would be a tough decision but the gap in FB spending right now compared to many other CUSA teams seems significant. Hopefully, the added FBS football revenue will help close the gap.

Meh....two October mid-week home games...and two mid-week away games on TV (good exposure). Not a huge sacrifice considering that we can now host much better teams (think Army, Navy, Rutgers, etc.) on other days as well as the bigger paydays when we do visit other P5 teams.

Very excited for this move. Long time hoop season ticket holder who would keep track of football but never really interested.

I’ve attended 4 games in last 5 years with 4 of them being parents weekend and the other being NDSU.

Not yet committed to adding FB season tickets but will certainly look forward to the schedule and plan to attend more games moving forward

I know some UD fans are very much on the fence with this move due to a variety of factors: Financial, success on and off the field being harder than ever to achieve, etc. I get that, but I also think in the long run, this is a fantastic thing for the Hens. Get to play a better caliber of opponent which in turn means can get better recruits, and as well as helping financially by playing bigger schools home and away. It is the right move and really should have happened way before now.

Not going to be all sunshine and roses to begin with no, but just take a look at Liberty, Jacksonville State,Coastal Carolina, etc and how successful they have been in overall, a pretty short amount of time.

We just have to be patient and as far as where the other 7 sports will play since it will not be in the CUSA, sure that will get ironed out ASAP. I trust those in charge of these things.
