That’s awesome. Congratulations to Marcus. He’s a real talent; hope he has eligibility into 2025.

Congrats, Mr.Yarns!

3rd team, and not as a RB, though. Bummer he got hurt and his playing time was reduced.

How do our players get measured next year (and the one after that? FCS or FBS? Do these award giving folks pay attention to players in a transition situation?

I guess Yarns still has a couple years left to make 1st team (and as a Running Back)…if he doesn’t get poached…on the FBS level?

Hope he stays with our Hens…and hope he can have a healthy and productive career here.
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Carty - get an FBS bowl win!

Per his bio, he red-shirted in 20-21, the spring season COVID year. He played in well more than four games in each season 21,22,23.

It appears that he has one year of eligibility left unless there is an injury waiver somewhere to be requested.

Thanks, mpw.

Sad he only has one year left.

Go out with a big bang next year, Yarns!

Do they count 21 Fall as a COVID year? That was Rocco’s Waterloo. He sure didn’t get a pass.

I don’t think so. Spring 20 athletes and all athletes in the 20/21 seasons got the COVID year. I think technically he has one year left to play with a redshirt year since spring 21 was a COVID year.
