He cannot be blamed for not taking a trip to Long Island. Smart move!

The Coach's Show at La Casa Pasta and on 94.7 at 7:00 tonight should be fun.
Any chance the Moss and Bethea questions get asked tonight???
I guess I knew the answer to the question before I posed it. Instead of asking the coach any insightful questions we get 10 mins of a 30 minute show with Kobe Jerome talking about who is the best dressed on the team. Ugh!!!
Yeah, the coaches shows have been kind of pointless to listen to. She usually some sort of fun facts about people on the team same with football lotta filler not a lot of content.

Send your inquiry to Ed Le Furge, men’s basketball SID, at lefurge@udel.edu

At a BHTC lunch MI stated that Moss had undergone surgery (in November). It sounded like he was done for the season.

Back in the Brey years, he would take questions from the audience or via phone. I asked Brey about playing Bennet, Pegues and Presley together and Brey was very candid and said Pressley doesn’t have the perimeter skills.

I think the q&a stopped when DH was hired, if he remembered there was a coaches show.

Wouldn’t team health and player availability be an obvious question coming from the media??? That’s sports reporting 101. Wish they would bring back callers, or at least accepting questions into the show. I’ve asked before and have never gotten a very good response. Maybe an elevated profile with CUSA will force the University to start thinking differently???

I am in agreement with all of your points. Just trying to ease your frustration a bit by pointing you to a guy who might have some answers for you.

Tres mentioned in a tweet about a month ago that Moss was out indefinitely and Bethea was battling a knee injury but nothing since.

I doubt anyone at the university is going to respond to an injury update.

There are ways unofficially to find out player status and some school “reporters” do a good job of disclosing that info.

It would be nice to know if Bethea will be back especially since he came in as an expected big piece of the rotation.

I guess I was lucky when I asked MI directly at Kate’s a few years ago and got a straight answer about an injury.

One never knows unless one tries.

Let me rephrase my post. I doubt anybody from the university will put anything in writing or message (email, voice mail, etc). Unofficially (a private conversation) info probably will be disclosed depending on the person

I get all that…I suppose I could camp out front of the Bob, as well, awaiting late breaking UD sports news. It just feels like the media outlets who cover the teams would do a better job of being a bit more probing and inquisitive. But no one with the University seems to care very much either, so I guess it is what it is…
