anybody catch the loss of possession after a time clock violation with 7 seconds remaining? oh my!!! the stats are deja vu

and another one bites the dusk :( . our announcers have been constantly criticizing the officials here near the end of the game. our time keeper as well.

The coach wants the team to RUN , RUN , RUN . The result is an average of over 20 turnovers a game . 28 turnovers today . They cannot play that type of ball . This team has gotten worse as the season has gone on . Today’s game was painful to watch . It’s already time , after two seasons , for a coaching change .

I was there. I watched it anytime they called time out near the end of the game coach draws up a play and they can hardly ever get a shot off. Meanwhile, after the game, the coaches always saying how good the team is yada yada yada no, they’re not. I’m sorry, but this year was pretty bad. It’s really sad to see what happened program that even in years when we didn’t have our best teams was at least highly competitive.

Maybe this team certainly didnt seem to jell but she is Ms. Positive on the post game interviews and supposedly when she was hired it was reported the players love playing for her….well if the U is not concerned about W & L s as well as showing improvement throughout the season then I suppose she will be back. The only and I mean only semi excuse was her first season. She was left with a cupboard pretty bare since our former coach left, took people and her recruits went or bailed. So maybe she gets another year, but with what we have back….. let’s hope she hits the portal hard

That info i could not find. I actually went looking for it the other day and even the old
news journal article from when she was hired It did not mention at least in the article I could find. Either way poorly coached season of honestly regression, either its her or the players are not executing what she is asking of them because this was the some of the sloppiest basketball. I went to four games. they lost all 4.

Northeastern Women’s Basketball Forfeits Its Game at William & Mary

RICHMOND, Va. (March 6, 2024) – Northeastern has made the decision to forfeit its CAA women’s basketball game at William & Mary, which was scheduled to be played on Thursday, March 7.

Northeastern informed the conference office that it was unable to play the contest due to limited roster availability.

Per NCAA policy, the game will be declared a “no contest” and not count in the overall standings. However, per CAA policy, William & Mary will be credited with a win and Northeastern will be given a loss in the conference standings.
