Is it just a coincidence or possibly luck that the top 4 teams at the end of the season do not have football programs?

Maybe the powers that be may be satisfied with that. The two preceding coaches were underwater. This program lost its shine 24 years ago when Brey left under the worst of all possible circumstances.
MI is NOT the Coach UD should have leading them into the next chapter of their B-Ball life.

Same for the F-Ball progrum and having RC as the Coach.

The problem is, I don’t see them buying any contracts out anytime soon we don’t have a lot of money floating around the schools crying poor cutting back on so many programs we’re trying to fund raise to get out of the coastal Maybe try to do some more facilities improvements as it is I just don’t see it, but I can’t say I don’t agree with you now but for football because He hasn’t had a chance at the level that we are moving to I would give him a shot unless proven otherwise in FBS. We’re essentially staying at the same “”level for basketball and it’s not here so I don’t think conferences really changes much but who knows As C USA programs have football teams.

It could certainly be a factor more and NILmoney going just to basketball and money for coaching salaries, etc.

Just curious…what were the worst possible circumstances when Brey left? The move to the CAA???

Brey left mid summer of that year. Not a good time to research and vet a comparable replacement. In a panic we went back to Duke and grabbed the first assistant available. When Matt Dougherty left ND for his dream job little did we know the ramifications it would have on the direction of our program.

That's fair...Henderson was a total disaster. Monte wasn't much better, but at least he cared and he was a good person. Henderson seemed disinterested and not willing to do the hard work needed to build a program. Can we convince Brey to come back??? LOL

Two very entertaining semifinal games. The money will naturally be on Charleston to stamp their ticket to the dance, but kudos to Stony for getting to the game as a #7 seed, knocking off the #2 and #3 seeds.

Funny…our announcers were gushing over Hofstra after they kicked our @$$ saying they wouldn’t be surprised to see the Pride win the CAA title. Another attempt to diminish just how far we had fallen below the better teams in the league???

Their women’s team is very good this year too…football team stunk at least they turned it around in b-ball. Good for them!

yeah- the best of what is our pathetic women's CAA teams. Like I posted-To be a player down the road, it's time to cut our losses just we sell those stocks that have been underperforming and write them off to our capital gains. I just hope we're not late to the party in this coaching decision and lose more money and interest.
Keep the faith kick butt go Hens
